Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit Universal 2 Port Aluminum Oil Separator Reservoir Tank with Drain Valve

Quality catch can, operated as it should and did what I bought it for. Had a massive blow by issue and as you can see on the pic, it catches the oil after driving for the day so it's worth the money spend. Before i got the can, my intake was always loaded and because of that, loads of smoke will come from my tail pipe on the highway. Was easy to install after drilling 2 holes on side in my hood.

I put mine on an older truck. The quality is pretty good, in my opinion. The screw cap and valve did end up leaking. I used more Teflon tape than should be allowed on any project on this planet and it is holding, for now. If you sealed it with some silicone or something, then installed it, I think it would be perfect.

This air-oil separator works well and is a good value for the price. I have it installed on a 450 HP big block street strip car. It's not a large can... smaller than what it looks like in the pic. So you can fit it under the hood in many places. Also, this isn't a high priced, super high quality, super heavy duty catch can either, but it works well and is inexpensive.

Drain lever is very convenient. Might look at removing the metal filter inside to just filter through steel wool in the can. Nice and thick metal and the hose adapters should fit anything.

Honestly, I was expecting thin material like a can of soda. But in reality, built quality is really good. Feels really solid. It even includes the hose fittings with proper o-rings. The bottom of the can is texturized for a goor gripping. The threads on the can are well made and sealed with a big o-ring to ensure no leaks. nothing came loose including the internal plate. Everything on the can itself is made from solid metal and feels like so at the touch.BUT: Had to make a replacement for the bracket/mounting. The original mounting plate is made from a thin material and the can rattled a lot (the noise it made got into the cabin). Also, drain plug leaked but nothing a little bit of thread and tightening wouldn’t fix. Still, I consider it a great value for the price. I’ve been running it on my 5.3 LS and so far so good.

Solid material

Definitely smaller than I thought but that’s okay it’ll work as well certain things you can do to aid it to be better before install. If it doesn’t work for you, you probably should have done it right the first time. Performance wise you can’t ever cut corners so you’re probably cutting them now to hate yourself later or maybe it works good for you. There are better an there is making ends meet the best you can at that time

Don't need the drain valve on the bottom. Just twist off canister and dump when full. Put this on my 86 f250.
