Moon Handbooks Michigan's Upper Peninsula Paperback – June 12, 2012

I bought this on the recommendation on a physician that i was interning with. He has bought them through the years and likes them. I am pleased with the info. It is very easy to look things up and it is written very short and concise. Many medical books can be long winded and wordy. This book is short and sweet. Love it.

As always, a thorough and useful guide to the area. This is the 4th Moon Guide I've purchased, and the series is well worth the money. On every trip, there have been several interesting & fun things that I would have missed without the info in the Moon Guide. They are especially helpful for small towns and rural areas that don't have much info online.

Love the Moon Guides and especially like one devoted to the UP which is just down or should I say "up" the road from where I live. I want to share my love of the UP with friends so ordered several. This is the best guide I've seen since the one by Mary Hunt.

I just received this book today and have only paged thru it, but it does seem to be very informative and has the photos to back up the scenery.

AT FIRST WISHED I HAD BOUGHT THE PAPER EDITION SINCE THE PICTURES WERE VERY SMALL, AND MAPS WERE HARD TO READ. THEN I DISCOVERED TAPPING TWICE ON THE PICTURE ALLOWED THE ENLARGMENT USING DUAL FINGER SPREAD!

A+ shipper, this arrived within 5 days even over Dec holiday rush! Lots of concise information to guide you through the most beautiful parts of Michigan! Already using it to plan my spring camping trip!

This book was an immense help, when selecting places to visit in the UP. Get it long before your trip so you have time to study it. It's a wealth of info!

'nuff said. Detailiert, humorvoll, voller Hinweise auf versteckte Kleinode. Auch über ein so exotisches Eckchen wie die UP lässt sich so viel beschreiben, dass den Appetit noch mehr steigert. Ein Muss, wie üblich bei Moon.
