Would have been better off just picking up an old used Schwinn wedge ...
Not for a Schwinn replacement, but I eventually got it working. The wedge shape is different & did not line up as expected. Be very sure this is the correct angle you need before ordering. To be honest, I have about a dozen bikes (1940s-2013), & not one of them has a wedge that shape. Pic looked correct, but in practice the angle was all wrong. Thankfully if you are very careful & over-tighten the expander bolt, it is usable, so it wasn't a total loss. Would have been better off just picking up an old used Schwinn wedge off of another site instead of trying this one.

Wald Parts for a Wald Stem
This part works perfectly with the same brand stem, both being the Wald brand. Those reviewers who attempted to use this part on another brand stem and then gave it a poor rating are unwise, at best.

Vintage bike parts are to find.
The bike stem expander is a hard too find vintage bike part. And it worked great for my 1955 RollFast. Thank to Amazon and stem expander my bike is back on the road. Thank you
