Great food
My pups are raw-fed. They LOOOOOOVE Rabbit. I had to find a food to give them while they had some tummy troubles. While this is not a complete meal (not balanced), this is good to use in conjunction with vitamins and minerals, or as a one-off meal in association with complete nutrition.

Evanger's Rabbit is Wonderful. Great for cats that can develop eating issues with common proteins
I have fed my previous cats Evangers Rabbit in the past due to development of allergies to common proteins. This rabbit food is fantastic. Presently the rabbit food is less expensive than most of Evanger's other food. Pricier than many other cat foods; but I think it is understandable because this food is pure meat without fillers and thus would be higher cost to the manufacturer. So I gave a 5-star on everything including the price.

My 2 cats screamed for a second can!
Unbelievable that my 2 cats ate the first can (inhaled truth be told) and screamed for another which we opened up and gave it to them. One is a Calico 11 pounds and one is a Burmese 13 piunds both from a rescue organization both are 9 years old. This wet food is amazing.

Shepherd enjoys the change
Obviously good quality. Even when she is not hungry she will eat the canned rabbit. But she would probably prefer shredded to ground

Quality Addition to Food, but not a meal replacement
This quail is a quality food addition to a healthy diet, but it's not specifically a balanced meal like I thought when I ordered it.; There it is in the fine print. My dog was allergic to this protein unfortunately. I do like the variety that Evangers carries, but wish they had complete novel protein meals.

Food literally made my dog sick to her stomach!
Not sure about all versions of this product but the wet rabbit food for dogs and cats is horrible. It actually has little hard bones all thoroughout the can. I did not realize this initially because they do not list bones in the ingredients. My dog started throwing up horribly at different times and I thought it may have been her natural herbs the vet recommended. So I stopped giving them to her. But the throwing up continued and it increased to happening daily and multiple times a day. The vet was trying to figure out if it was health related since Evangers is supposed to be a good holistic food we did not think it was the problem initially. But my dogs stool always came out hard on this food and it never has been like that. So we discovered the problem was the food. She was also gagging like there was something in her throat and it had to be one of those hard bones. The bones are really hard. I picked some out to squeeze them and couldn't crush them. They claim their cooking process softens the bones but from the numerous bones I checked in multiple cans, I did not find any soft bones. This food literally made my dog sick to her stomach. Most dogs cannot even eat bones my Vet informed me, so I do not understand why Evangers would not include that there are bones listed in the ingredients. I am very disappointed with this product and the misinformation. No information on the Amazon site in the product desription lists that bones are in this food. I had to do a Google search to find out. My dog suffered because of this food and I suffered also from the trauma of seeing and knowing my fur baby was going through this. I have since switched to Wysong and thankfully there are no bones in the food. My dog is finally not having the horrific throwing up. This was the worst food experience we've ever had.
