Battery is defective or very low quality. I replaced a 3 year old OEM battery with this one, and it lasts for less than the original. Compared with original at purchase, the battery life is about 1/3rd.Update: After 1 month the battery has completed died and will not hold a charge at all. Attempting a return with the merchant.

Installed battery after receiving and computer wouldn't start up. Left it plugged in all day to see if it would charge. Nothing. Got our battery tester out and there was absolutely ZERO juice in the battery. Returning. I'll dish out the money for the first real deal

The perfect fix for a dying battery. I replaced my son's old battery with this and the battery time went from 30 minutes to about 5 hours. Not bad for a 3 year old computer and a $35 fix. Now my son actually uses the computer and it prevented me from having to fork out big $$ for a new school computer.
