Merax 26" Aluminum 24-Speed Mountain Bike with Disc Brakes Lightweight Bicycle

This bike is advertised as fitting 5'10" to 6'2" and 330 pounds which is a good range. It does not explain that the handle bar height is not adjustable and I had to buy a three inch aftermarket riser for $15. Be advised that if the riser is more than about 3 inches, you may need new cables as well.The bike comes 85% assembled and you have to install the seat, foot pedals, handle bars (cables already installed) and front tire, none of which is a major project.I did find the rear brake rubbing and the derailleurs needing alignment so I had to take it to a bike shop.The bike is attractive in terms of paint colors, etc. I did replace the seat ($25 so not a major cost issue) based upon my personal preference given the original although nice and attractive, was narrow and was quite firm.Overall it rides nicely but it may have been a better decision for me personally (had not been on a bike for years) to go to a professional bike shop for appropriate fitting and to provide warranty or other repairs/adjustments locally.The company has been very responsive on the internet when I had questions. The cost of adjustments needed at a local bike shop were covered by the company.

Followed a few of the comments. Had this professionally completed since I have not worked on disc breaks. Sure its easy to install in person, yet a tune up by a professional actually did better. I have a happy happy happy body type and this bike controls great without pushing down on the tires. Easy controls to change.

The bike was not easy for an amateur like me to assemble. The front fork was too wide for the wheel to fit properly. I ended up taking the bike to a bike shop and paid $72 to have it assembled. not too happy about that. Second, I thought I had ordered a 24" bike, not a 26" one. I am only 5'6" tall and the 26" is a little tall for me.

If you're looking for a bike for fun rides, this is a great bike. It has good equipment for the money. It was easy for me to get this bike to fit the way I ride.

Front disk brake is a little sticky but overall happy with the bike and purchase.

Upgraded tires to WTB tires for better grip on trail , tires it has now are more hybridI didn’t like that the brakes squeal and sometimes the chain hits against the rail , but after some minor tweaks all good , would have gotten a 27.5 though

Perfect for my 9 year old who loves to ride bikes. He's about four foot six. This has everything that you need: trigger shifters which are easy to use, disc brakes and is relatively light.

Excellent bike, beautifully built, assembly is easy & intuitive, speedy & well fit. Would NOT recommend for anyone over 6 foot tall. Enjoy!
