Sauder Barrister Lane Entertainment Credenza, For TVs up to 60", Salt Oak finish

I have read a few comments about the finish being slightly worn off when received.. I had this problem and I didn't notice it until about 3 months later when I actually had time to open the box and set it up. The way they send (to avoid these problems) each piece is packaged the best that anyone or any other company could do. I had sent them an email letting them know I had been going though a death and other stuff and let them know that I noticed it way after I ordered the piece to see if they wouldn't mind swapping those pieces. I just filled in the parts with marker for the time being and you couldn't tell!!! A week later, those parts that I explained had been damaged were right at my front door. I was so shocked and surprised, as they DIDN'T have to send me anything being it was so late in the game. Now, I am looking for some furniture for my babies room. Sauder it is!!!! Love the furniture and you cannot beat the price!! I put this together all by myself just needed help moving it because it is heavier and sturdy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

It's rustic, big, and beautiful. I have a tiny living room though and live in a top floor apartment (it was a pain getting it up the stairs)..so maybe not the best choice for this room. But i love staring at it. I also purchased the side table and the lift top table in salt oak... because I was in love with the pictures. It took 5 hours with 2 people. There are many pieces.You definitely need some time to set aside to build this piece! All I used were a phillips head screw driver and a mallet. The box contained extra parts which were nice. The directions were easy enough to follow. The caps for the cams...were a pain to put on. The hinges were bent as it came in the box (but this is easily fixed by bending it back) so that made it hard to close the front glass doors. Overall, I still love it. it definitely brings a statement

When box arrives, expect to need a second person to carry it into your home. I have hard wood floor, so as the instructions recommend I built mine on the box it came in and still found a couple scratches on my unit when it was completely put together (try to assemble on carpet if possible). It took me several hours to put together, so expect to spend some time on it. Even with all of that in mind, I really like the unit and think it looks nice in my home. Glad I bought it and would recommend it to others. I went ahead and ordered some of the other product in this suite.

There wasn't anything I disliked. It was easy to assemble. It is time consuming. The end product is worth it. The time it takes to put it together. I love it. It's very pretty and sturdy.

Went together without any problems. Looks nice and is feels solid and well made. I also bought the book case in this same line and it also went together well Good furniture.

In general it looks nice, but the doors are a little off in the front. With a lot of effort I couldn't get them to line up just right. Also came in a ton of pieces. Be ready to put some time into building this. I got the bookshelf as well. That was nowhere near as involved as the credenza. Recommend having help getting it inside (very very heavy package) and putting it together. The customer service was good about replacing a broken part, but I was disappointed the original and the replacement came damaged. I had to wait for a 3rd shipment. This may have been a fluke that I experienced, but if you are in a pinch and need something quick, I would consider the time to wait for shipment, potential for missing and/or broken pieces, and time to assemble.

This product arrived without assembly instructions and had several essential missing pieces. The pieces that did arrive looked as though they had been assembled previously and taken a part and most of the part stickers were ripped off or missing altogether. This product and the shipment was an overall hassle and I would not recommend.

My shipment was delivered in good time and after opening the box to check on the pieces and accessories, am happy to say that mostly everything is intact. All the parts are labeled in alphabetical order and once you are handy and can understand building instructions it is easier than following some of lego toy instructions. If you get overwhelmed with building pay for it to be built. The color of the unit is nice in person and should fit with most modern pieces. I am okay with not purchasing solid wood for certain uses. I have friends that prefer the heaviness and old world feel of a solid wooden piece. Everything lined up properly including the two glass doors to the front. This was a decent purchase for me. Thanks.
