Beautiful dresser when complete, but long and somewhat painstaking construction.
When complete it is a beautiful, and heavy, dresser. It takes time to put it together. It took me about 7 hours, so if you're in a hurry it's not going to go well. Instructions are very clear. I was concerned about the negative reviews concerning the drawers, and there are issues, but they can be dealt with.1. I didn't put the back on until the drawers were in and aligned.2. The drawers have two ways they can be adjusted. The glides on the drawers can be moved up or down as necessary. I assembled all my drawers with the screw at the top position. The pieces that hold on the drawer fronts can be moved up, down, in or out, so if the drawer front is hitting on the left side of the dresser frame you would want to adjust those hangers to move the drawer front to the right. I was able to get the bottom three drawers in perfectly with minor adjustments. The top drawer needed both glide adjustment, and front adjustment, but the finished product is exactly as pictured in the product description.3. I also used some WD- 40 on the glides when I was done I wiped it off with a paper towel to remove dust, and construction residue. The drawers slide perfectly. So, it is a pain putting this together, but if you have patience and are persistent it can be done.

Very nice quality and easy to put together.
This dresser is pretty, and very sturdy. I put it together by myself but it took about 4 hours. I would recommend two people assemble this, one build the body of the dresser while the other builds the drawers.

True-to-picture finish, but disappointing material
I bought this chest to complement a dresser made from recycled pallets (the Finley dresser from World Market) and a similarly finished nightstand (the Safavieh Blair side table in vintage gray from Target). The grayish wood tones work well together, and all have the half-moon pulls I like. This chest has the added benefit of coming in multiple finishes if the salt oak doesn't suit your tastes. However, while the dresser and nightstand have texture (the nightstand is a mix of pine and MDF), the chest is smooth because it's MDF with a wood veneer. Neither the Amazon page nor the manufacturer's page indicate that it isn't even partly solid wood. Also, the back is a flimsy cardboard-like material. I was able to assemble the chest by myself in an evening. The instructions were clear, and images of the various fasteners are printed to size in the instruction manual so you can lay the actual fastener over the image to ensure it's the right one. The only tools I needed were a power drill with a Phillips head screwdriver bit and a hammer. Despite my disappointment over the MDF, for under $200, I would recommend this chest.

Great customer service
Being the experienced with assembling furniture, the instructions for this dresser was easy to follow. Unfortunately the bottom portion (part D) had the slightest bit trimmed too far up and caused the attachments to come loose as well as making the product look crooked. However, Sauder has a great customer service program that I was able to navigate through Amazon. Through their online form, I was able to re-order the necessary piece (you will need to enter the model and lot number located on the instruction manual). It was promptly delivered the same week. The finished product looked great.

Garbage
Best part about this is it might look nice once it's put together. Or not, if you get one like mine where the drawers won't align, they barely open and close, and the whole thing starts sagging to one side once you finally get it loaded. Very poorly made. If it was a $79 dresser I wouldn't be as annoyed, but this is extremely overpriced for being so cheaply made.

Looks Better Than It Works
I bought this dresser for our 4 yr. old because I liked the height and width of it for the size of the bedroom. It’s definitely more gray than the stock photo would lead you to believe but I can tolerate the color. Aesthetically, it is a clean and simple design. I like the black farmhouse style hardware. Functionality is rather poor. The drawers do not glide in and out smoothly and the top one gets stuck when pushed almost all the way in so you have to give it a decent shove to get it to close flush. My husband has put together several furniture pieces from IKEA and Target and he said this piece was awful. It took him 2 hours, the directions are useless and he had to rework the drawer configurations to get them to even all fit. Although the price point is decent for this economy, I’d recommend paying for better quality.

Perfect for closet
I have ordered Sauder in the past and it is everything I expected it to be. When it arrived I noticed upon opening the box that it was very well packed and none of my pieces were damaged or scarred. As with anything you put together it will take a little time to do it but the end product is well worth it. I used this for the inside of my closet for light things such as undergarments, shorts, etc... I was very pleased with what I ordered and would recommend or order another similar product from this company.

Nice Piece
Was searching for a decent size dresser and stumbled on this one. It’s pretty sturdy and good quality. It takes a bit of time to put together but what’s the rush? The only thing I’d fault it for is for the back piece. Could have provided a sturdier piece of board. Current one is flimsy but overall, I like.
