Heavy Duty 14mm U Bar Bike Lock Anti-theft Bicycle U Lock with Mount Bracket & 2 Keys

Its a cheap lock HOWEVER its easier to use cause it clicks locked instead of having to turn the key to lock it. its very narrow and will scratch your bike if your worried about it. I would highly recommend buying a kryptonite lock instead if you live where bicycle theft is relevant I dont use it for long periods of time so im not to concerned about it but I could probably break it with a regular hammer also the bracket doesn't fit my road bike. and the bracket mount faces inside the U so it makes it prone to scratching and is a very tight squeeze would I recommend NO but if its all you can afford its better than nothing

I really like this bike lock. It's heavy duty steel, easy to open & lock, it has a cover that slides over the keyhole to help prevent freezing & rusting, and it comes with a holder to attach it to your bike while it is not in use. I do not actually use it on a bike. I use it to lock my gate in the backyard to prevent intruders from coming in from the alley. A homicide took place in my alley last year and while it was an isolated event, I felt compelled to take extra precautions to provide additional security. So, in addition to motion lights and cameras, I replaced the padlock with this bike lock. It is a physical as well as a visual deterrent to opportunists who look for an easy target.

This is so unreliable u-bar lock ! I unlocked it with a twist of my wrist and a spring broke inside !. It was missing a pin . The inside is made of plastic with 2 washers and 2 springs ,1 spring broken ,1 pin missing ! I will not lock anything with this u-bar lock. It went directly in file 13 ! Use the money I paid for it and use torward a ☆☆☆☆☆ Star product with steel ,not plastic ! Then again , nothing is made in USA anymore ! It's made in China !

This is an affordable lock, with a mounting brace that comes with a spare key. Material is nice but not the best quality, however good for the price!It is a bit small - difficult to lock it to most things that are bigger or ticker, and it has not a very sturdy connection it feels like it could be popped off easily.All in all its a pretty good deal for the price or for a non-expensive bike, but for those of you who are looking to really keep your bike safe, look for a better one!

Its cheap product, I would not recommend it, also it doesn't open when you twist the key, i am locked here with my bike stuck on the railing and its cheap plastic and cheap keys which are easily displaceable and made duplicate. Not recommended for THEFT prone PLACES in big cities.

I managed to shear the mounting bracket clean off a few days ago. I can't imagine what the rest of the construction is like, and I'm not very confident that the lock is very strong if you take a hammer to it.It's also hard to lock around normal bike racks I discovered. I tend to have to lock around the ends of the rack through the bike frame if I don't want to loose my wheels.

My bike got stolen, so no, I don’t recommend

This is a great bike lock, I just pulled the plastic piece off the side though that kind of got in the way. Not sure what that was there for.
