Fox Standing Toy Figure

Super disappointed in the fox I received. I love holztiger animals and have slowly been building a collection to give my 1 year old for Christmas. The quality and craftsmanship is typically amazing. However, the fox I received doesn't match the quality I have come to know. It has rough edges and the eye placement is really off. For a small toy I paid $$ for I really expect better.

Half the time I look at this and go, what the heck was I thinking paying $10 for a toy fox?It's a beautiful wooden toy fox. My two year old loves it 50% of the time. I love it 100% of the time. I will not kid myself that I bought it entirely for her. She's just as happy with plastic. I'm the one who wants the toy room full of aesthetically pleasing wooden toys (incidentally fewer toys, because the wood are expensive).It has rounded edges, a whimsical Ostheimer-like paint job, and is made of extremely lightweight but durable wood which has meant fewer injuries and table denting without broken pieces. This separates it from other similar wooden toy foxes.

The eyes are painted unevenly and it’s driving me crazy. I thought this brand was legendary for its craftsmanship, maybe amazon sells counterfeit items? I am not impressed for the price!

I bought this for my 19 month old son and it's just the right size for him (not too small to present a choking hazard). The picture included is of me holding the fox so it will look even larger being held in a child's hand. The toy is very attractive and well made. I definitely will be purchasing more Holztiger animals in the future.

Very well made, solid, impeccable attention to detail. They are made to fit perfectly in small hands but still big enough for the younger crowd. They’re very smooth too which is good for wooden toys. This is all personal preference but I think we personally prefer a slight bit less detail, like facial expressions etc. just so the kids have a little more to room to imagine. I’ve noticed they are more drawn to our other less detailed animals. BUT, these still get A TON of love and play and I think they are absolutely amazing. And at a lower price point I think they are well worth every penny and an amazing option if you don’t want to invest so much money in a collection of wooden animals (100% no judgement because we have to save our money somewhere and these are awesome toys)

Adorable and beautifully made. I want to order more. It’s about the size of your hand and stands nicely on its own. Isn't wobbly. Very cute. I love handmade wood toys

Well made and a lot better priced than the German alternative. I will buy more of these wood toys.

I love Holztiger wooden toys, but the tail broke off of the fox the day after we received it. I have tried to glue it with several types of glue numerous times but it keeps breaking off. We have many of the other animals and have had no problems.
