Did the trick and then some
OMG it works. Like really well. I live in a very dry environment with clay like soil, aka it doesn’t hold moisture well. This product REQUIRES moist soil so the nematodes can survive and do their thing. I watered heavily two days before using, then watered moderately every day for a week after. Since it is summer it only took one day for the soil to completely dry out, thus killing the critters. But! That was ok!!! In that one week they did the dang thing. ALLLL the fly larvae were GONE. Like totally and completely GONE. I still have a mostly full container so if the flying menaces return I am armed to wage war and win. I was hoping it would help, but was not prepared for fly annihilation. Will absolutely repurchase if the scourge returns. But you HAVE to keep the soils damp continuously for them to be able to do their magic. And bonus pint that it has zero pesticides or anything else that one may not want in their garden.

Say Goodbye to Fungus Gnats: This Product Actually Works!
Hey fellow gardeners! So, I had a bit of a nightmare with my raised cucumber beds. I thought I was doing good mulching them with GardenStraw, but after a few waterings, BAM! Fungus gnats everywhere. It was seriously annoying. I did some digging online for solutions and stumbled upon this product. Now, I'd never used nematodes before, but let me tell you, it won't be my last time! I followed the directions, sprinkled some in, and watered the beds as instructed. And get this – just a few days later, my garden was totally fungus gnat-free! This stuff seriously worked wonders. Just a heads-up: make sure you follow the watering directions for three days straight after you apply it. I got lucky because Mother Nature actually took care of two of those days for me with some rain. And honestly, the price wasn't even a factor for me. I would've paid way more for anything natural that would get rid of those annoying little pests. But good news – this product was super fairly priced for how well it works! Plus, a little goes a long way, so it'll last you a while. If you're on the fence about getting this, just go for it. You won't regret it!

Works pretty well
I’m assuming this is working pretty well as I’ve only seen a few flying bugs Nothing like I’ve had the last couple of years, but then I didn’t know what kind of bugs they were then. This shaker bottle of tiny little globules is so handy and easy to dispense onto plants that I’ll probably use this method from now on. It works!

Didn't work, not alive
I got these to control thrips and fungus gnats. It does not work for either one. After multiple applications over several weeks, the numbers are not reduced, there are still new thrips emerging from the soil unharmed. I don't think there were any live nematodes in this, maybe it got too hot, maybe it was too old, I don't know, but there was nothing alive here. They did absolutely nothing. All the bugs they supposedly target are thriving after weeks of repeated application and careful nurturing of the soil so as not to harm the nematodes. Stopped by to write the review because I am back here searching for something that actually works, because these codes do not seem to be alive upon arrival. PS, I've been keeping the open container in the fridge, the beads are still moist, everything appears normal except there's nothing alive to infect, or so it appears. This is an indoor and controlled environment, I don't think they're alive.

Works!
The media could not be loaded. I actually believe this is working!! I have had a dramatic decrease in bugs!!!!Before this, I tried the soap method, the hydrogen peroxide, tried poison spraying, peppermint diatomacious earth, the sticky traps. Finally I decided to give this a go because I know a similar sort of mechanism works for mosquito larvae. Again, I have no real proof except my perception. Ive tried to change only one variable at a time so I can compare. Perhaps it has been the combined overall effect of all methods together... but I will definitely continue to buy this again. Preventative upkeep.I just sprinkled it on top of the soil, mixing it into the soil with a fork so its deeper in the moist layer. I have done two applications since last purchased about 3 months ago. Only felt the need to do another application because I didn't want the bottle laying around. I wanted to use it up but it seemed like one application did the trick. I have about about 25 plants in soil in my house.** much wiggling the second time I purchased, but wanted to share a video and photo under a microscope of exactly what you're getting.

gnats are nearly gone
I had a large number of gnats in the house for a long time. I tried a number of different traps and sprays. This item is so easy to use and provides enough product for many flowerpots. Enough to provide a repeat application if necessary. It didn't take long until I saw the number of gnats dwindle. The traps were set up fresh again in order to monitor that volume of gnats. Rather than changing the traps every few days, several weeks have gone by with no need to change the traps. The volume of gnats have gone way down with so few gnats in the traps. It seems the volume of gnats have gone down a good 98%. There is no smell or mess at all. Certainly the best product to use for those with allergies or chemical sensitivity.

Disappointed
The instructions states you have to water plants 3 days in a row to active this. I felt like that was much for my indoor plants but I attempted anyways. Not sure if this has worked since I am still seeing fungus nats around my plants. I will give another shot but since it didn't work the first time I wouldn't recommend. Pros very easy use and no smell. Had high expectations for this!
