Great price for the value.
This replaces my previous one that I bought where the handle was made from ceramic material that broke off when I accidentally bumped it with a metal object. This valve is made of all metal (brass) that I no longer have to worry about it breaking. I love the quarter-turn handle. The price is much cheaper than what would get from Home Depot.

For the money it's a nice little valve ...
Actually, although I wanted a ball valve, this wasn't the body style of valve I was originally looking for. But after checking out both Lowes and Home Depot I found that this was the only style they had too ... but Amazon's price was best. So once I realized that the style of valve I was looking for (which was similar to the one shown here, but with a 1/2" female house connection ... https://smile.amazon.com/PROPLUS-GIDDS-262483-Hose-Bibb-Valve/dp/B008MG1PH6/ref=sr_1_18?keywords=ball+valve+hose+bibb&qid=1568071649&s=hi&sr=1-18 ) was, for some unknown reason, no longer available on the market I went ahead and purchased Amazon's. One good thing about this valve is that if the space you have is tight, and so you need a nifty small valve, then this valve perhaps would be a good choice. It's easily installed (though the female house connection does require tape thread), fits into a tight space, and is easy to use. However this valve likely should not be used with water systems that convey or dispense water for human consumption (the water will come into contact with the valves brass parts). Actually I wanted a valve with a steel lever handle so I would be able to turn it off and on with my foot (my connection is fairly low to the ground). Of course this valve doesn't have a lever handle but it is easy to use otherwise. How long the plastic handle will hold up ... I don't know (we'll see). But I'm glad to have the valve. And for the short time it's been in use I haven't had any problems with it ... it's worked well.

Check the outlet angle
These hose bibbs worked fine for me. I'm just reviewing to warn the purchaser to check the angle of the outlet. That "angle" I'm writing about is the way the water comes out of this hose bib. I find it is much more horizontal than most outside hose attachments. That is, the water shoots almost horizontally from the outlet as opposed to more downward in a regular hose outlet.I'm keeping these although I prefer a normal downward water outlet.

Works as inteded, a bit pricey
This works exactly as intended and is great since it is 1/4 turn and you don't have to spin it a bunch to open the garden hose. Now sure on the reviews complaining about output, this has as much or more than my old spigot. Maybe those reviews don't have enough water pressure, not sure. I would highly recommend this and will update the review if any issues arise.

Well made - Flows much better than standard screw type faucet!
Solid construction and very compact. Love the fact that they allow full flow from a tap. No washers to ever replace is a bonus.

Exactly what I was looking for
I picked up a pair of these for washing machine hookup valves. I've heard horror stories about WM hoses bursting whilst the homeowner is away, so try to remember to shut them off after each use. (Even in an unfinished basement - who wants a humongous water bill?) The particular angle is perfect for my setup, pointing down and toward the machine so I can easily slip my left hand to turn them off (sans the da-dee-da-dee-da turning of old style valves). I don't think the flow through capacity of the ball valve really matters, but you're move likely to use it if it's only a quarter turn. My only hope it that the hot side doesn't start rusting like I have seen happen - though I can't say which brand that was.

It’s ok
I prefer a straight handle valve. They seem to be harder to find but worth the extra money.

Nice valve, works well for 2 gallons per minute
This is a nice ball valve, 1/4 turn to turn on or off. As long as is aware that the flow path is narrow, will not exceed 2 gallons per minute it should be fine for most washing machines or garden hoses. However, if you need over3 gallons per minute for large pressure washers or irrigation, it's not likely what you'll need.
