Tremendous scholarship and great writing
Schullery is a renown historian regarding Yellowstone National Park and grizzly bears. He has done a marvelous service to people interested in those subjects, and in ecology of the American West before invasion by Euro Americans. I find the book invaluable for my research on bear-human relationships.
