Cengage Advantage Books: Business Law Today, The Essentials: Text and Summarized Cases

I'm a Human Resource major. This is a a great introducterory level book. Of course if your class requires this book then you won't care about how the book compliments the class.What you want to know is the condition.Overall it was in good condition. All of the pages were there and the book was structurally sound. The only gripe I have is that people wrote in this book quite a bit. Some of it didn't make any sense. It progressively became worse throughout the semester. Its not to bad where I couldn't read the book, but it was a little bit distracting sometimes.

I had to purchase this book for a business law class that I took, I am glad that I have kept onto this book because there have been some times when I really needed to look up some information about the legal processes involved in daily business operations. I was able to look back and refer to this book to answer some questions that I had, as well as going into detail and explaining the different legal business aspects that every business needs to learn how to deal with.

This textbook is a lot easier to read and understand than I expected. When I found out I had to take business law I was kind of annoyed but it was my easiest book to read this semester! The examples are real world examples and you can even research the cases and get more information (I know I needed to for my assisgnments). I've definitely recommended this book for other friends who are taking this class with other professors and struggling. It's so much easier for them to understand!

Its hard to love a text book, but this is well written and useful. Lots of information. The Kindle edition works great, except I wish they would improve the highlight capability to add more colors, and do it quickly. Also, my Kindle Pc app has a default setting which is to not remember where I was in the book when the app was last closed.

This book was required for a college class. I found it very well organized with many very helpful appendixes at the end. It was easy to follow and explained complex legal terms and concepts clearly. The text is introductory but comprehensive and current.

Wish I could afford the new addition. This book is really good, easy to read and comprehend. That's important with business law because of how many things there are to understand and memorize.

Very informative. The kindle medium was helpful for studying and test prep. There were a couple of errors that my professor had to correct.

This textbook arrived quickly and in the condition posted. I'm quite pleased. It is also a very clearly written textbook, one of the best I've had!
