Chex Mix Hot n Spicy Snack Mix 3.75 oz, 8 Pack

I absolutely love these. If I'm going to eat something spicy, I want it to be painfully spicy. This isn't at that level, but it's the closest any chip has gotten. The best part is despite being quite hot, they're still delicious.My roommate ate a bag, and even though he knows the level of spice I strive for, he didn't expect a chip company to come close. He told me he finished it nearly in tears, but out of sheer determination.This is not for everyone. These chips really are 'danger hot.' However, chew has found a lifelong customer in me.

they're great as long as you like really spicy chips. probably some of the spiciest chips i've ever had. i was surprised the first time i had them because this is chex mix and not some niche gimmik "we put ghost pepper on this" chips, but they cut. as long as you know you're getting spice, it's great. kind of expensive for chips but considering how rare they are to find in a store i guess it evens out.

too much cayenne pepper in recipe now, i think it used to be more jalapeño lol

This would be great if it were the product pictured. However General Mills has reformulated the product and updated the packaging with a black "warning box" in the bottom right referring to the heat.It is hotter. so if you just want heat, you actually might prefer this new flavor. But it isn't spicy anymore. It tastes like the Cheddar Chex Mix with a ton of Cayenne pepper. Both the Cheddar and new "Hot & Spicy" have no spicy or savory/umami flavor which I used to love in Chex Mix. Now they taste like raw butter. In this case, raw butter with an offensively strong heat, but no associated garlic or chili flavor to make the heat worthwhile. It actually tastes like someone used the same basic formula for the Cheddar and Hot & Spicy varieties (which manages to have no cheddar flavor) and added heat and distinct packaging to these.Don't buy this. Without savory or spicy flavoring, I can't imagine who this would appeal to. (for reference, this review is for an order in January of 2017 - right now the page still shows the old style packaging which implies, incorrectly, that it has not been reformulated)

The best snack ever. If you love spicy snacks; this chex mix is the ultimate.

Why are the most delicious of the Chex MIxes so hard to find? They used to be more common, but now it's like a snype hunt trying to find them. I love these things. My only disappointment was that these are the smaller bags....curses!!!

I normally love "hot and spicy" but these Chex Mix are way to hot. The initial taste is very good with a good sweet hot start but then the hot just keeps building and goes into the hot just for the sake of hot range. Hot and flavorful is great but hot just for the sake of being hot doesn't do anything for me.

Honestly, these are my favorite snack/chip.
