CAP Barbell Weight Plate Rack for 1-Inch Weight Plates

This weight rack is super in my husband's workout room. It easily holds all of his weight plates - 1.25# - 5#, 1 inch metal weight plates. It assembled quite easy, is very sturdy and take up a very small footprint on the floor. A real benefit to keeping a tidy workout space. I highly recommend it.

We have Rogue plates and we can only fit one row on each side. We purchased a gently used one and it is in nearly perfect condition. Would recommend for anyone looking for a plate holder with limited space.

I have used these plate racks (or weight trees as we used to call them) before in commercial gyms. They are a little wiggly in the plane that the triangle lies. That said, I have never seen one fail that wasn't abused. The rack assembled easily. It has enough hangers to hold the variety of weights that I have in my home gym and reduces the floor clutter. It is stable when removing weights from only one side of the rack.Just be careful when assembling the rack. Over tightening the bolts that hold the rack onto the base could deform the metal base legs and compromise the strength of the rack. if I were designing the rack, I would have made some provisions to fill the hollow cavity of the base legs with a spacer to ensure they wouldn't be able to be deformed by over tightening the bolts. But as the rack was delivered, it works well and should last.
