Hopeak Faux Wood Wallpaper Peel and Stick Self-Adhesive Vinyl Decorative Wall...

I needed something for the wall behind the bed. I thought about using barn wood, but what a job! I decided to try this faux wood wall sticker to see if I even liked the look. I'm pretty happy with it. This job took about 14 hours total, but I'm super picky. It only took 5 rolls. The rolls are 17-3/4" wide, but you will lose width from lining up and any small overlapping. My measurements were about 3/8ths of an inch off by the time I worked from one side to the other, but I added more pieces on both sides and was able to compensate for that. The only drawback is that one of the pieces of "wood" in the paper has a rather noticeable repeat patten. It doesn't look bad head-on, but you can really see it when you look from the side. I was careful to hang each piece and make sure the lines in the pattern were offset. You can hang the whole roll from the top with just scotch tape. There were reviews that said it tears easily, but with the backing on, it is pretty sturdy. It also peels off very easily for repositioning, and it all sticks well. I had to peel off and restick several times, and it still worked beautifully. Air pockets were not a problem. I didn't even need to use a credit card or straight edge. I just smoothed it with my hands. If I were to use it again for a large area, I would cut up the paper more to eliminate that repeating pattern. Overall, I would definitely buy this again. I saved the little bit I had leftover in case a project crops up that I can use it on. I highly recommend this stuff!

It has a good adhesion. Easy to use. It is a little thin but it's OK. Love the effect on my trailer and I sealed it.

Very realistic looking. I ordered it just to see what it would look like and I like it so much that I'm ordering a couple of more. Not sure what project I'll use them one. But I know I'll figure something out. And they were a good deal. Actually peel and stick wallpapers very easy to use

Absolutely love this product looks great, if you take the time to do it right. Easy to use and color pattern fairly consistent. Thickness of this material helps to eliminate problems with wrinkles. You will need to prep a textured wall to give the adhesive something to stick to so either sand texture off or skim coat it and paint with a non-chalking primer. Sanding the texture off is a lot of work and messy. I skim coated the walls with a thin sheet rock mud and painted over it with some left over satin finish interior paint. Worked great!! I bought many rolls of this product and I will buy many more Gives you a nice, cozy cabin feel…..

My handyman was going to charge $350 just to do one accent wall. I watched a few YT videos on how to line it up and cut it even at the bottom, and did this myself! I ordered 4 and only needed 2, my fault for not measuring. Too late to return the extras, but I am very happy with the outcome!

Absolutely love this! Ended up purchasing more to do even more projects around the house! Made such a huge difference on our bathroom cabinets. It's a perfect inexpensive upgrade. Renter friendly. Easy to apply. I have found that it holds up well. I have recommended this to others.

You get what you pay for. Tape on roll tore entire sheet when I tried to gently remove. This caused a project crisis. Very thin and creases effortlessly.

I have an existing IKEA bed frame but I always wanted a reclaimed wood bed frame. However, they run about $350-$500. Came across this paper which was only about $15 for the roll size I needed. Figured what do I have to lose? Glad I went this route! The paper thickness and quality is great. It's not textured paper but the print quality is so good that it looks pretty realistic. Definitely more realistic than the IKEA faux-wood laminate. The peel-off backing has a lot of helpful gridlines to help you plan. It's divided in to 4"x4" squares. My only complaint is that only every other square has the grid-within-a-grid. It would've been more helpful to have that micro-grid throughout. The application was definitely a process! Probably around 4 hours for the headboard and 4 hours for the baseboard (split up over 2 days). That has nothing to do with the paper though. Just the nature of the project since there were a lot cutaways to plan out. That's where I the gridlines come in handy. I was VERY thankful that the paper is forgiving! Couple of trial and errors in the beginning. The paper peels off fairly easily and doesn't get warped or crinkle. The trick is to apply light pressure as you go so you can easily peel off if you make a mistake. I used a fuzzy paint roll cover to do the initial smoothing out while applying the paper (to avoid major air bubbles). Once the paper covered the entire surface, then I used a plastic putty knife for detailed smoothing of the smaller air bubbles. So yeah, in sum, I practically got a new bed for $15.
