Great for ideas
This book is great to get ideas but no real directions to how to achieve each look.

Rip Off/DO NOT PURCHASE
The only reason I purchased this quilt design book was due to one of the authors listed in the book. The name of the author is Natalia Bonner. I have purchased a few of her other books. They were wonderful because she gave instructions as to how to go about achieving designs. This book has several designs but no insight or instruction as to how to go about duplicating them. The main purpose of purchasing this type of book is not only to get quilt designs but also how to get them. I am past the window of returning

A disappointment to a new quilter.
I was very interested in this series of books and ordered all of them. They were disappointing, as they were simply drawings. I had expected to find descriptions of how to do the various patterns, but they were not included. Maybe these would be useful for quilters who are very well versed at how to quilt free motion or quilt with rulers. I would not recommend them to beginners.

Useless
This book is just line drawing of designs. There are no instructions how to use these designs. Mostly useless for someone that is attempting to learn how to do straight line quilting. One star because it has to be rated.

Pages of line drawings with no instructions whatsoever
If you are looking for a book with tips, tricks, or instructions on straight-line quilting designs this book will not help you. It is pages of geometric line drawings with the designer noted on each page but the designs aren’t even named, and there is no information on how to accomplish any of the designs.I figured the “just designs” meant there weren’t quilt patterns but it really means zero information or instructions. It’s very disappointing how completely unhelpful this book is and it’s got to be one of the most unimaginative and unattractive art books ever printed as that appears to be the intended purpose.

Easy to adapt patterns for full quilt or individual blocks
Book is clearly illustrated. Diagrams are easy to understand making it easy to recreate the quilting designs on your own quilt

No details or instructions
Plenty of patterns to choose from but unfortunately no text or helpful comments on how best to achieve any of the patterns. Fine if you're an experienced free-motion quilter but definitely not for the inexperienced needing a helping hand. Had I known this, I would not have bought it.

Very disappointed
Did not meet my expectations at all. Given the authors I expected some guidance within different types of shapes. These are just pages filled with straight line configurations with no explanations at all. Just line drawings page after page.
