Punished!

Loved it Lubar your a great author!Luv it keep up the good work.But when he ran into that person how did the dust get on him?I used this for a school project called Battle of the Books.Hope to see some great stories.see you guys later.

Love this author so much! My son started with his Monster Itch books and we just finished Punished. Such a great read for my son. He found the puns so funny. It really was adorable to watch him read. He nearly lost it at the the oximoron "jumbo shrimp". Wish this guy would write more books!

Funny and quick to read chapter book for grades 3-6. Excellent mentor text when teaching the Texas TEK over puns and adages. Some of the puns might go over the heads of some more literal thinking elementary kids, but most are so overt that readers will be either rolling their eyes, laughing or both.

Good book for teaching puns

Loved this book! I read this to my fourth grades when teaching a lesson about puns and figurative language. They loved it and laughed at all of the silly puns throughout the story. I highly recommend it for language arts teachers.

This book is seriously funny and full of puns, palindromes and other English writing tools. The best part about the book is you are learning and you do not even realize it!

Purchased for my 11 year old daughter for a summer reading challenge for school, this was a quick and fun book that she liked quite a bit. It has an 3rd grade AR level, but it is easily a fun read book for older kids.

I like this, suitable for my Primary class

Have you ever been pun-ished?I suppose yes. But, I am sure that the pun-ishment you got was not even close to what this boy got. I am notsure whether this boy gets free from his pun-ishment , but I promise you start reading this book you won’t want to stop. IT IS A MUST READ !!!!!I highly recommend this book to you all -Samaira 10 years.
