I really like this product especially for the price ($529 black Friday). It's not a designer product, but not a cheap throwaway either. Took about 3.5 hours to put together by myself fairly easily.Please note that the hardware (door knobs + hinges) are not shiny stainless steel/chrome like in the pictures, they are bronze. They look nice so it's not a deal-breaker, but they don't contrast with the black color.Real wood, very sturdy, looks great, easy to understand instruction book, excellent cable management, love the glass doors, and the layout is great. The size is right what I was looking for.Downsides? I couldn't get some of the locking end-caps to turn as much as they should, but doesn't seem to have affected the overall build. Looks like there are two drawers but the top door just folds down - would have rather that be a 2nd drawer instead. The bottom of the actual drawer is a material akin to Formica and not wood, though I think it'll be fine. The drawer and cubby above it aren't tall enough to store Blu rays standing up, so you'll have to lay them down.Overall I'd highly recommend this product if the size and looks suit your needs.

A nice looking piece of furniture. Serves purpose well. This is a solid wood piece of furniture. Supplied with sturdy and well designed hardware. There are a couple of shortcomings that can be overcome. The instructions are adequate but could have been much better, pay attention! A Real Concern is that a good number of the screws need a Allen wrench or (Hex Head) drivers to install them. ...The hardware kit includes two Allen wrenches. One problem.... with an Allen wrench it is nigh on impossible to screw these screws in, in my opinion, give me a year, and maybe I could get the job done.... BUT... If you have a drill.. and some Allen headed ( HEX HEAD) bits for it... you're good to go...( you can buy the Bit AFTER you've seen what size is needed, if you don't already have one.....

I have been researching for months to find the best TV stand for our Florida Room which I’m not only looking for a good looking piece, but also made well, made of real wood and priced right. I finally decided to purchase this unit after reading tons of reviews and looking at pictures taken by reviewers. First of all, the furniture was delivered three days before the scheduled delivery date, that’s a big plus. It was very heavy and packaged very well. No broken pieces or anything damaged. All the components were present and it also came with extra hardwares. I only gave four stars because even if it is made of real wood, the wood they used is a cheap wood. They covered the cheap wood with a wood designed lacquer which I chipped while screwing in a screw, thankfully it was in a hidden spot that no one would see and also be very careful because it easily get scratched too! Well From unpacking, to assembly, up to putting the TV and other things on its designated areas, it took me about 5 hours. I still have those old style receiver and speakers for my Karaoke so it took me Longer to attached everything back together. I’m 5’5” female and weighs 130 lbs but I didn’t encounter any difficulties in putting this piece of furniture together. The directions were pretty straightforward. I didn’t follow one of the steps that was directed when you have to attached the top piece to the rest of the unit while it is on its side. What I did is, I stood the unit up and then laid the top on it and guide it to the holes while slightly tapping it with a rubber mallet. I would have appreciated It more if it came with holes in the back in all of the slots. The back side only have three holes for the two front open slots and the pulled down cabinet. I left some of the screws out in the back of the two side cabinets so I can slide the wires in instead of cutting out a hole. It worked and I’m very proud of myself. The finished product came out gorgeous!!! I’m very happy with my purchase even if it’s a little bit pricey for the kind of wood they used and I highly recommend this TV Stand if that wouldn’t bother you just like me.

Overall this is a quality unit with 100% solid wood. It did take about 3.5 hours to construct. Instructions and parts were organized well. The color was a little darker than expected but still nice. The stickers on each of the 4 glass doors and the large warning attached to the inside of the right cabinet were a pain to remove, especially the large one glued to the wood.

I am so pleased with this product! I was hesitant about purchasing it because you never know. Also, I read the reviews about how difficult it was to put together. We opted to have someone come in and assemble it. BEST DECISION EVER!! My husband and I are really good about putting things together, but this was a beast. Pay the extra money and let someone else do it if you are not an EXPERT. So worth it. I love the product. Well built, beautiful ,and functional.

I have bought simplihome products in the past, and I've always found them to be good value for money.Unfortunately in this case, either through packaging or shipping issues there were multiple scratches and dents on the parts that arrived, which were only visible one we started assembling the cabinet.They also weren't small, or areas that could be hidden, but front and center of the most prominent parts of the wood.The quality and overall look of the product is good, especially considering overall value for money. However, the shipping and arriving product leaves a lot to be desired.We submitted a request for replacement parts but are yet to hear back. I will update the review if we do get a favorable resolution, but unfortunately even with a replacement set of parts, it would still take another round of assembly to finally getting the product to look and function like we want.Good design and overall product, poor packaging, delivery, and slow resolution times for any issue you may have. Consider avoiding if you don't want that headache.
