We've replaced numerous home buttons, and screens, successfully, so we ordered the eParts Solution Home Button as a replacement. We read the reviews like other buyers, and those considering the matter. What we did like was the fact that the home button is new, and looks like it would work very well. So we purchased two of these Home Buttons from eParts Solution. We failed trying to return the items, and just take a loss due to it is a ridiculous restocking fee. More bad news is, the two we received are simply just for looks. You might want to save your money; or you can also take a loss as we did.

Home button did not work properly. At times iIt would not respond to touch. Eventually it stopped responding.

Mechanically, it works great. Touch ID doesn't work, but that was expected. Phone is operational when before it wasn't. Cosmetically, the button isn't 100% hence the 4 stars instead of five. Overall I am very happy.

Worked as described. Happy with the purchase.

I replaced the screen on my Iphone 7+ and I was so disappointed to learn that in doing so the Home button was now useless. I did use the on-screen button but I hated it. I have been waiting for someone to make a button that works and Ive found one! The fingerprint sensor doesn’t work but I don’t mind as long as I don’t have to have that damn floating button on my screen. I feel like it’s a normal phone again. I just replaced it today, cross my fingers it keeps working.

Took three months later than first promise to arrive, when installed, does not work for pressing and functioning.
