I used these to swim in the Dead Sea, and then to walk through water and up a muddy path in the Hezekiah tunnel in Jerusalem.They stayed on well when swimming and gave good grip when walking over a rocky path under water, and in mud.They drained well and dried moderately quickly.Order your normal size - they have plenty of room.

Sizes differed - I take a UK ladies size 8, so ordered the 7.5 (a size 41 came) in three styles (free returns, so ordered for choice). Style 6 & 9 were just a bit too big but the 7.5 in style 11 were perfect and just snug enough so they won't be loose when wet.The style 11 pink shoes are really nice, very neat and a bit more flattering than some of the cheaper dark coloured ones I've had. Removeable (but sturdy) insole, so easy to wash and dry. Very pleased!

So I’m normally a size 8/9 and have wide feet, I ordered a size 8, but were too big as they fell off in the water. I went to a water park on a lake with lots of slides and jumps into the water, but as soon as I jumped in the water I could already feel them falling off. I used them for about 5 minuets of the obstacle they were nice and grippy and offered a tiny bit of protection, but i gave up as they kept falling off.I also took them on holiday and used them every day for about 2 weeks walking in them, going along the beach and rock pools. They lasted well and were very comfortable.We went when it was very hot so being bare foot on the sand was almost impossible as it felt like it was burning your feet. These saved my feet and I never had that problem!!The only down side was that they were extremely hard to clean! Because of all the sand in them I needed to get that out, but washing them didn’t work as the sand just got more stuck in the shoes!!Also I was playing a bit of beach football and stubbed my toe, which was extremely painful 😖 and made a whole in them which I was a bit upset about. So if you wanted these as protection of your feet they will protect the bottom, but as I have learned not the top...So overall some really good water shoes and I will probably order again, but in a smaller size!!

Nice and colourful beach shoes as described in the photo. I ordered a size 4 as i measure a wide 3 1/2 but i think i should of ordered smaller as plenty of room. Too much hassle to send back so will just hope they don't fall off when wet.

I haven't used these in water as of yet but am very impressed with the quality feel these have. I was surprised to see a spongy should to make them feel more comfortable when walking. The shoes fit snug and don't feel like they will slide off no matter how much movement is involved.

Bought for my wife who loves them, her previous water shoes were slippy in the water she says these fit great and leave her much more sure footed while doing water circuits

This is my second pair of Barefoot Water shoes. I use them in the pool to provide grip and to reduce impact during Aquafit classes and for walking around the pool decks of a cruise ship where they make getting in and out of the hot tub much easier and safer. I’ve had my first pair for well over 2 years and the soles and the insoles are in perfect condition, the upper has stretched a little bit but they don’t seem to have faded. They certainly don’t look like they need replaced. The original pair are a uk 7.5, my actual size, however I’ve lost weight, my feet have got thinner and I needed a smaller size. I’ve found the uk 6.5 fits fine.

Very comfortable - not tried them out on the beach or in the sea yet, which is why I bought them but, they are extremely comfortable.
