Comfort meets major versatility in this classic water shoe. The men’s Newport H2 showcases the airiness of a men’s sandal and the toe protection of a shoe for men. The siped outsole provides excellent traction by channeling water away from the bottom of the sandals for better grip on wet terrain. While the washable quick-dry straps are equipped to take you from the trail to the harbor, and everywhere in between. Weighing 14.2 oz / 402.6 g (per sandal), and made to last, the Newport H2 water sandals for men are built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. KEEN is a values-led, family-owned maker of original hybrid footwear for working and playing outside. Since 2003, KEEN has been creating sandals, boots, shoes, and sneakers in its mission to make the outdoors more accessible for everyone. Every KEEN product is Consciously Created to help leave the planet better than we found it. Review: Great sandals. - Very excellent. Love Keens and these sandals fit great and very comfortable. I wear them daily. Sturdy. Review: TRUE STORY: THESE SHOES HELPED ME SURVIVE AN ENCOUNTER WITH A GRIZZLY BEAR - When you're face-to-face with a 900-pound male grizzly savagely feasting on a freshly-killed elk carcass, the most important thing is to remain calm. Figuring out how to disengage the safety on your bear spray canister before driving 1,200 miles to Yellowstone is probably in the top three, but that's a discussion better addressed in my forthcoming review of Counter Assault Bear Deterrent Pepper Spray with Holster, 8.1-Ounce . Anyway, where was I? Oh, yeah: Stay calm. When it comes to bear attacks, panic can be deadly. It seems like razor-sharp teeth and six-inch claws are way deadlier, though. Hiking alone in bear country probably is, too, and getting caught between a female and her cubs. Whatever. The point is not to freak out. There will be plenty of time for that later, like over the course of the remaining six days of your seven-day camping trip. Or six months later when you see The Revenant; then you can freak out all over again. Nope, you don't have the luxury of freaking out, because by the time your wife sees you fumbling with the bear spray and realizes you're completely serious, the freak-out is already in motion. You can tell because she will be trying to run while carrying two kids who are already screaming and crying (In grizzly, screaming and crying translates roughly as "Welcome to Taco Bell." Running means "Please pull up to the second window"). That's when your training kicks in: You calmly tell her "Don't run" as you struggle to understand why the bear spray safety won't slide off to the side (because it slides off to the front, idiot), while looking back over your shoulder every other step, corralling three terrified, shrieking kids and trying not to pee your pants. Good luck doing that in sneakers. Or flip-flops. Or those stupid boat shoes with the white soles and the useless little shoelace thingy. If I had faced down a grizz on one of my college trips to Yellowstone there would have been nothing left except a copy of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and a pair of Birkenstocks. The moral of this story is that I was able to navigate down the gentle slope of the completely ALL-DIRT trail, past the benches, cross the road at the crosswalk, and get my family back to the safety of the parking lot, all thanks to the rugged stability of my reliable Keen Men's Newport H2 Sandal,Black,10.5 M US . No other shoe could have done that. Actually, now that I think about it, I might have been wearing my KEEN Men's Targhee II Waterproof Hiking Shoe,Cascade Brown/Brown Sugar,11 M US . Anyway, these are great. I'm on my fourth or fifth pair and I have another half dozen or so pairs of assorted Keen shoes in my closet. They are well-made (I've never had any issues with materials or construction, anyway), take a beating, and are extremely comfortable, especially if you have wide feet like me. Or, you know, get chased by a bear.

KEENs are Great Shoes
I have worn these for many years (have bought 3 times). They are really good in the spring and summer. Good to walk in (comfortable) on sidewalks or paths, or your yard. Comfortable and easy to put on and take off. If you get dirt or mud on them, can just spray off with a hose. Highly recommend them!

Almost perfect -- but still very happy with the Shoe
I purchased theses a few months ago so have been wearing them a lot..... I've had a pair of Keen H2 Sandals for 6-7 years and love them. They finally gave up the ghost and so I needed a new pair. My old sandals were a size 9.5 so i decided to order a 9.5 again. WRONG, these were to small and had to exchange them for a size 10. These fit almost perfectly. they still felt a bit snug in the width and the length was about right but my 9.5s still seemed a bit longer. However, the more I wear them the more cofortable they become in the width and length so I'm guessing they are stretching out that little bit. For those wanting these sandals for boating, I sail a lot and race. I wear my sandals for cruising, they work great since your toes are protected and provide enough grip for what I need when cruising. As for racing I where regular sailing shoes that are made to grip. If I was only in hte cockpit then I might wear my sandals but I tend to wear my racing shoes. Heat build up -- If I walk around on warm pavement my feet do tend to get hot in these sandals. This happened with my old sandal and is the reason I gave them 4 stars. That said, they don't get hot enough where they are uncomfortable but they will get a little warm. THis is one thing that I did not expect. Overall these are great shoes and the only sandal I own. They are comfortable (even if a little warm) but they meet all my needs.

Very durable, protective, versatile use, looks great in public
I got the India Ink/Rust color in male size 11. My previous Newport H2 sandals lasted over 20 years [with the help of shoe goo] before falling apart! There was no question about me buying another pair. I like the wide toe box and narrow heel, which fits my regular-to-narrow sized feet. It has moderate arch support and the stretch cord is adjustable for comfort. The color is true to the profile, and looks great. Since I often hike in these, I find the toe bumper very helpful in preventing damage to my toes. They are a touch heavier than other sandals because of the thick, wide sole and toe bumper. A small price to pay for their protectiveness and durability. Since I often wear them when going out, I appreciate how the covered toes aren't exposed and in people's faces! They are highly versatile and can be worn almost anywhere and still look good. I highly recommend these sandals if you wear sandals frequently or like to hike in them.

Nice Shoe, wish it had elastic back strap.
Great shoe, and I would have given 5stars. Only issue is hard to put on because the back strap is not elastic.. Has no give.. But the shoe is nice quality.. Fits and hugs foot nicely one u get them on.

Comfy!
He likes them! My husband thinks these are comfy and he's difficult to shop for with his thick, wide feet. I'm too old to mind this look anymore, so as long as he's comfy, I'm happy.

Great Sandals, all I own is Keen
These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. Other than a couple of points that always start out tight, things will loosen off and they will be on your feet and you won't feel them. They are light weight and supportive all around. Highly recommended!! Size to fit for regular width feet.

Hervorragend
