Broke down after a few months
I’m not sure if it’s my port or the adapter itself, but after about five months, the connection became loose and resulted in me having to fold my cord across my laptop for it to charge. One move and suddenly it would disconnect. Sometimes I had to sit it back and let it charge until I could use it again, ugh.

Great replacement charging cord!
This was a near exact replacement of the original part. The cord length is great, perfect for traveling and great deal for the money. Would highly recommend.

DOES NOT Fit Dell 5491
When I open the envelope, it was clear that this had been returned and stuffed back into the original package for resale. I soon found out why. The end piece will not fit a Dell 5491, regardless of what the seller wants you to believe. Wasted time.

Failed after a month
The unit worked as advertised for about a month. I tried the OEM charger with this power cord and the OEM charger works. I tried this unit with the OEM power cord and it does not work. I checked the output with a volt meter - no output.I have sent an email to NICPOWER to ask for a replacement or refund. Depending on their response, I will amend this review.
