I like the size of this garbage can very much and it seems to stay put very well on the center hump behind the front seat. The materials of the can itself look good but it's let down by the flexible mat on which it's attached. It is a somewhat flexible material, but it is still too stiff and doesn't contour completely. Even in the photo, you can see how it is kinked from how it is packaged inside the can for shipping. I do like the fact that you can mount the can parallel or perpendicular to the mat. I chose to mount it perpendicular so that it would not interfere with my pop out drink holders.I did have to remove some flashing from the mat edges, which was easy enough but it should have been done at the factory, but for that I deducted a star. You can see what I had to remove in my photo.

I am not very happy with this waste bin. The rubber "wings" which are supposed to hold it in place are extremely stiff and do not want to lay down around the driveshaft tunnel. Even after sitting in a hot car in the sun, they are not flexible enough. Because the wings don't hold it in place very well, the bin tends to fall off the tunnel and the wings straighten out more and make the problem worse. I recommend looking elsewhere for a tunnel mounted waste bin. It isn't worth the cost of returning it so I will just donate it to a thrift store.

I was looking for this type of a car garbage container for my Sedan; the flaps mold closely to the back seat hump to prevent the container from falling over. I know some reviews reflected negative opinions, but they are not made for SUVs, since their backseat hump is so much higher and wider; they are made especially for the Sedans.

Been looking for a trash can like this one locally for several years, ever since I lost one like it that I had for quite some time. All the ones I found to replace it just didn't fill the bill. None of them had a secure way to stay on the driveline hump. When I recently looked on Amazon to see if there might be one like it out there, sure enough, there it was. Can't tell you how glad I was to find it. It seems to be made as well as my original one.

Not sure what people are expecting. We love ours. It fits over middle hump just behind front seats. Both people up front can easily reach back and put in small items like gum wrappers and other small items. It is not meant to be the size of a McDonalds bag. It is for little things. If you want something bigger, do not buy this. But it does not fall over and is a great little product.

Very disappointed in this item. We bought 2, one for each of our SUV's. The trash cans fall off the "hump" of the floorboard in both vehicles and spill your trash. No amount of adjustment to the bottom of the trash can has helped to keep them upright. They also won't sit flat on the floorboard as well as the trash cans we had before at a third of this price. Back in the dark ages, they made trash cans with beanbag-stuffed side flaps that sat perfectly on the floorboard hump and stayed in place. They worked very well but I haven't seen them available in years. Wish they were still available.

This fits perfectly over hump in front of our car, a sedan. Solidly built one piece item. Enough weight to it that it stays in place. Fits under our cup holders that slide out. The size is small but exactly to proportion as described and a good size for a vehicle. I plan on purchasing more for the both of our vehicles to use use as a catchall for coins, pens, chargers, and notepads.

I really like this garbage can. Yes, it's very small, but I drive a 1991 BMW 535i, and 1) the hump is the only place to put a garbage can; and 2) if it was any bigger, it wouldn't fit there.Don't expect to put Big Gulps in here. It's really mostly suitable for gum wrappers, kleenex, straw wrappers, etc.It seems to be pretty sturdy, but the flaps don't create a super tight fit to the sides of the hump. I'd give this five stars if there was some velcro on the underside or the flaps were weighted.
