Quality, Function, and finish is 5-star, Value is 4-star so overall is 4.5 Stars
This Park product has a Lifetime warranty against defects. Chose the 5-star rated Park PCS 9.2 Model over the the 4-star rated 9.0 entry level Model stand, despite the increased cost, because the reviews of the 9.0 indicated design weaknesses specifically with the push button leg lock NOT holding reliably, resulting in collapses and damage. Do NOT recommend buying the 9.0 model for this reason. Per a bike industry publication Bicycle Retailer & Industry News (BRAIN), the Park 9.0 and 10.0 stands were redesigned and upgraded in 2019 to the 9.2 and 10.2 so it's a good idea to consider these improved stands even though they both cost more than the original model. This steel stand is sturdier and more stable than the cheaper aluminum stands with resin bike clamps and fittings that cost 1/3 to 3/4 the price of this 9.2 stand. The padded clamp jaws open a max of 3." The two-legged stand will fit (stand) in a corner with the upright post in a vertical position. In use, the upright post is canted toward the mechanic for increased stability of the stand with bike.Had a line on a nice used non-collapsing Parks Pro floor model repair stand, but we needed a collapsible stand for traveling, so went with the Park 9.2 Model. Not pleased with the additional cost of the 5-star rated 9.2 over the 4-star rated 9.0 stand, but again the 9.2 is a sturdier, more reliable design, so in that respect the $20 extra dollar cost was necessary. Again, due to design issues with the leg button, I would NOT recommend or buy a 9.0 stand - period.Features: The 9.2 stand a steel tube, all steel bicycle clamp stand with some resin/plastic parts like the friction cone rotator surfaces in the bike clamp, upright tube adjusting clamp, leg positioning clamp, and adjustment knob handles. The plastic parts appear durable/strong, the steel components are stout. The fit and matte blue powder coat finish and decals are excellent. The Park box this item arrived in was labeled as "Designed in the USA. Made in China." The stand components were well packaged and padded to ensure no shipping damage. It arrived without any shipping induced cosmetic flaws.

Better design than other inexpensive stands
I owned the top-rated stand on Amazon for about 5 years-- it sells under a variety of names, but it's gold aluminum. It was adequate, but poorly engineered. This Park stand is great. The screw to clamp the seatpost is simple and works-- with every type of post. Even droppers. And, it's not complicated. The legs are longer and stabler. I was removing bottom brackets and cranks, so it got a real workout. Love park tools-- except their brushes to wash bikes. Those are the only bad thing I've ever gotten from Park.

Sturdy stands that folds away
I bike to work in New England all year, all weather. I go through components a lot, and I enjoy repairing my bikes as much as I do riding them. I have been getting away with indexing my derailleurs for years now with a 2x4 clamped to a porch or table while the other end rests underneath the seat. Finally decided to buy a stand, I'd been looking at the park tool stands a couple years back, but they were huge and definitely more for a shop. When I saw this model for the home mechanic at a lower price, I went for it. I don't have a lot of space at home, this folds away easily for storage so that's great. Put a new wheelset on one of the bikes, dialed in the drivetrain for a different cassette, and cleaned everything up in about half the time it usually takes me. Easy to assemble, easy to adjust, holds the bike securely, really can't complain.

Excellent stand
holds my bikes secure at many angles, dont expect it to hold at 90% top weight very long, there is just too much gravity working against you, make sure the bottom clamp on the riser bar is tight if you plan to leave the bike hung up for extended periods of time, there is a possibility of the bar to move forward if it slips past the safe pivot point and the bike will fall forward, waking you up in the middle of the night thinking someone is stealing your stuff. (yes happened to me)

Strong and Stable
This is a very high quality product. It is very strong and stable, and its steel construction lends the weight necessary to avoid even a hint of a tendency to tip. It is a little difficult to fold, but I attribute that to the fact that it is brand new. The main upright is finished in a slightly textured coating and the sliding collar for the folding legs does not slide easily up the column. This is a very minor complaint, though, about an overall excellent product. The frame clamp works easily, is very secure, and adjustments once the bike is mounted are easy and smooth. Highly recommended!

This should cost more
Park stuff is wonderful and this is no exception. I would likely have paid double and been happy. Assembled in 5 minutes (with supplied tools or your own) but the best part... all operation thereafter is tool free. Ooozes quality.

Awesome tool
SO happy for the addition of this tool to my arsenal. I hate to admit that im getting older, but just can't be working on ground level on my knees anymore. This is the perfect solution to that problem. As expected awesome Park Tool quality, easy to assemble, no complaints!

Great tool!
if you plan to service your bike, get one. It makes life much easier as it raises the bike off the floor to easily service, maintain and even clean your bicycle with ease.Easy to assemble and once assembled easy to collapse for storage; a nice feature for apartment dwellers!
