I am seldomly very impressed by a product like this . This is very well made , everything fits properly and it works very well . I just made blackberry jelly and it really was a vast time saver . the product is easy to assemble , easy to use and above all its a doddle to clean too . Very well thought out product well done to the people who make it .

Funciona super bem. Uso pra fazer molho de tomate sem casca. Passam algumas sementes e o braço cansa um pouco... mas é muito bom.

I made a ton of applesauce with it this fall and it worked just as it is supposed to. Also comes apart for easy clean up.

I was skeptical about buying any food mill after all the negative reviews. I'd never used a food mill before but I'm a novice canner and need some of the equipment the pros use to make a sometimes long and tedious job a little easier. I settled on this one because it had LESS negative reviews than the others and I'm glad I did. This machine is awesome. I crushed grapes for jelly and made applesauce using this mill. It is easy to assemble, easy to disassemble and easy to clean. It chewed up everything I put in it and spit it out effortlessly. I'm hooked. I realize I may have to get a bigger one the more I get into canning but for right now, this will do. Some of the reviews for the other mills complained about a sweeper arm on the bottom to remove the pulp. This mill does not have a sweeper arm but it wasn't any problem. Food did not collect on the bottom and fell freely into the bowl. If you are not a heavy duty canner and just need a small device to get you started or if you're only one person like me and only need something small then this will do just fine. Canning is really time consuming but it is exciting and well worth the effort to me. I know what's in my food and I know how long it's been on my shelf. But I also want to share my creations. This handy dandy gadget allows me to do that a little easier.UPDATE: I've had my mill for a couple of months now so I wanted to share my experiences. I still love it. It is very convenient and saves me a lot of time. I make applesauce a lot. I do notice that some of the skins and seed bits get through the edges of the strainer attachment. So I tried to mill it into a strainer and then push it through to strain out the bits. This was way to much work. Wasn't worth it for the little bits I was trying to remove. Instead, I dumped the skins and seeds out of the hopper and cleaned around the edge of the strainer before putting the next load in. Then, if I saw some bits while I was stirring in sugar or cinnamon, I simply spooned them out. But it's not that much and what I don't get just adds a little texture to the applesauce. That doesn't bother me in the least. These small pieces of skin remind me that I made it from scratch and that's what scratch cooking is all about! Skins and seeds or not, you will not get this quality in any jar in any store.

I got this mill to process tomatoes for canning. I’ve also used it to make mashed potatoes. It’s super easy to use, great quality, heavy duty, easy to disassemble and wash. I’m very pleased!
