Good idea, try it on vehicle armrests, not just car seats
We have two of these now, one for each car. This product has a hook that fits over part of the car seat to hang a little mesh bag, making drinks/toys/etc., accessible to the child. I think it would be particularly useful for long car trips when the child needs their cup, snacks, crayons, toys, etc., all within reach. Plus I have actually considered getting one to use exclusively as a garbage bag since my youngest likes to throw trash on the floor! The mesh bag can be removed to wash, and will fit quite a few items. I should note that they seem to have revised the product since the publicity photos were taken. Mine is definitely not as deep as the ones shown. I measured with a ruler from the bottom of the bag to the top of the plastic it sits in and it was a total of 6 inches. It says the bag is 9 inches by 7 inches, but that likely includes the inch or so of the bag that is folded over to make the bag stay in the plastic holder. Honestly, I think they way they have it now is actually more useful than what is shown in the picture -- a water bottle or tall sippy standing up in the bag now stays up with the spout above the top of the bag, while I am sure that if it was as deep as the one pictured, it would sink to the bottom and not be within reach as easily. And no, it doesn't fit all car seats, but if you take a look at the side of your car seat and it has a part that sticks up like the one in the picture, it is could work (and for me at least it showed free returns, so I figured nothing to lose by trying it!). I measured the inner dimensions of the curved hook and it is about 2 inches wide. It fits on my daughter's Britax Roundabout, but not on the Britax Regent or the Graco Nautilus (which already has cup holder and about a 3 inch arm). But it also turns out to fit over the arm of the "captain's" style chairs on the vehicle, so it actually turns out to work just fine. In addition, in a pinch it could be installed slightly sideways along the upper arm area (parallel to the shoulder/chest) and most toys would still stay in and be within the reach of older kids. If it rotated so it could be installed at an angle and have the bag remain parallel with the floor, that would be even better. My girls are older now and I really like the idea, but it probably would have been even more useful when they were toddlers. The most interesting thing to me is the instructions, which explain how to "practice" with your children on how to put in/remove items from it before installing it in the car -- so you aren't trying to explain where their sippy is while going 65 mph on the freeway. The sheet claims that kids as young as 16 months have figured out how to use it after this type of practice. Mine are definitely much older than that, but it still a great idea. If it had a variety of sizes for the hook (if they sold a small, medium, large), or if it was somehow adjustable, it would be perfect.

Construction could be way better. I have to adjust the net from time-to-time so it doesn't fall out. BUT, I haven't seen anything else like this on the market, and it has been a LIFESAVER on longer car trips. I have the kids pick 2-3 books and several small toys to put in their nets, and then they can entertain themselves for quite awhile on the few things that fit inside. It IS small, but my kids have made it more than an hour without needing anything else from me, leaving me to focus on the road. They are crazy overpriced, but I suppose they know desperate parents will pay it, and we've certainly gotten our money's worth over the last few years.

Not for carseat, great for high chair!
I originally bought this to use with my Britax Boulevard, but didn't like how it fit. It was tipped at a funny angle and fit loosely. I ended up using it on the back of my high chair to hold snacks and things, and it works great! The mesh liner is a bit frayed at the top, which is my only reason for rating it 4 stars instead of 5. If they could enclose the top of the mesh or trim it, it would be much better! (For some reason the phone app won't let me post a photo, or I would!)

Though this would be the answer to a carseat without a cup holder... But it will not stay on either of our car seats :(
This "holding station" I thought would be of such great use in the one car seat which does not have a cup holder. Well it is not sitting on tight no matter how i instal it. I have tried under the car seat cover too but it just fall off. My grandson does not want to use it because of this and even when I get it to stick for a small trip, he doesn't like it as his cup tips over and he can't get to it and it spills. I bought two as I thought little sister would want one as well for her toys but I cannot get the net to stay on. I haven't given up coming up with some kind of method to make it stay but for now it's not an easy task.

It's ok.
This is a great concept. I like having some toys handy for my kid to play with as we travel. I was having the issue of it coming off of the car seat with the slightest nudge, but I fixed this problem by hooking it under the carseat's fabric rather than over it. Now it works fine. It could be a little larger, but over all it's ok.

Hangs down on my seat
We have it on our Britax roundabout and it is okay. It hangs down on the sides (probably due to my carseat, not the product) so it is hard for little children to get into. Might work better as they get older. Also doesn't hold much, a couple small books, and 2 small toys and its full.

Good idea, needs more design work
The concept is awesome... except that it's too low for our toddler to reach. So I like it for storing toys, but I still have to reach around and hand them to the kiddo.Another little annoyance is that the dogs knock it off and spill the toys.Verdict: better than no basket, but not living up to its potential.

Not practical, doesn't fit some seats, poor design
These don't work on our car seats, and I don't know if it's just the brand, but they are not wide enough to fit. We use Britax for our convertible seat and our booster seat, and though it will sort of fit on the booster seat arm rest, it is a tight fit. It barely holds anything, and you can't fit regular sized books in. It seems it is better if your child is using chapter books, since those fit well for my 5 year old. I wish I had gotten something with different compartments, since drinks, snacks, toys, etc., are all jumbled together and fall over eachother when you pull something out. It is pretty deep too, so if something is in the bottom, it is hard for the kids to reach it. I guess it's a lesson in getting what you pay for, because the quality is just not great and the design doesn't meet the functionality needs.
