Speak And Spell

My sister had this on its original release and it’s a great LP. This re release however is even better. The sound is superior, more detailed, sharper and crystal clear. The sleeve is now glossy gatefold, with full lyrics and an essay, the inner sleeve has transformed from thin plain paper to a properly designed inner. Plenty of attention to detail and well worth the money.

Great First album from Depeche mode with Vince Clarke

I bought the vinyl reissue of Violator and was greatly impressed by the audio and the classy packaging. On the back of that I ordered Speak and Spell. Was it as good an effort as Violator? Unquestionably. My original copy of this LP looks and sounds vastly inferior in every respect. I have always enjoyed this album, but this reissue really sparkles - unlike many other remastered/reissued/regurgitated efforts that are doing the vinyl rounds.

One of my favourite albums of all time, has some really great tracks on. It's very synthy and cheesy in places but I love it, Dreaming of Me is probably my favourite song ever actually!.
