In the dispenser, this stuff has a scent that is good enough to use. It smells sort of like a pine forest. It goes on pretty smooth. The problem is that once applied, it just doesn't work. I've tried a number of deodorants from Tom's, Salt & Stone and most recently Wildist "Witchustle" and while all may have their pluses and minuses, they all function pretty well as a deodorant. This stuff can't last more than about 3 hours. I've tried it on the unbearably hot, humid Philly days and some when the heat and humidity isn't so intense and I'm not really sweating much.When it was really hot and I was pretty active, it helped a little bit but not much. When I was less active and moving around helping out at the local food bank on a slow day, it worked a little better but the body odor was still pretty noticeable. Just because a Deodorant is "vegan" or "cruelty free" doesn't mean it doesn't work and in fact some can work very well. This isn't one of those.If you want to walk around with a mix of unpleasant body odor and a bit of a forest scent, this is the deodorant for you. I certainly don't want to smell like that and I don't think anyone around me wants me to smell like that in close quarters. I would never in a million years buy this stuff. The current price of almost $15.00 is insane considering how well it (doesn't) work. While it might be cruelty free you could pick anything off a dollar store shelf and it would work better than this stuff.My advice, don't even think about wasting your money on this deodorant. It under performs, it is way over priced and while it has a decent scent, your body odor will have no problem crowding out the forest scent of this product. I'd never buy this and don't think you should either.

The fragrance is not overpowering but definitely there and smells great📚 This product applies easily, is mostly smooth with a slight amount of grit which I find is common in a natural deodorant and does not bother me.📚 This deodorant works well for me most days. On a few of the recent hot and humid days we've had (mid to upper 80s and very high humidity) I found that it wasn't as effective and didn't last as long. On an average work day (working in an air conditioned office) or a day that I'm not working outside in hot weather, not working out etc, It works great! What this really means to me is that I'll have two deodorants in the drawer. One for normal days and another natural brand that I find works great for the more intense days.📚 I really like this product and their mission statement, their commitment to a natural deodorant. I only wish that for the price, it worked well in all situations.

Yes, we should (for the most part and where practical) use environmentally good items.This fails MISERABLY. Just miserably. The stick is very when applying, hard to “advance”.The “scent” reminds me of OLD SPICE. And, forgive me, but I like more lighter smelling scents – flowers, beach, fruits. This smells like mountain man. Not for me.And, that scent LINGERS – especially on my clothing. It is not pleasant. As I don’t get out much (especially with 110°+ days) – longevity isn’t an issue.As much as I hate saying it – I’d rather have a good smelling deodorant than smell like I used a bush under my arm.

I have jumped in the aluminum free wagon a few years ago when I found out how bad the stuff really is for me. At first I had a difficult time finding good quality products to use instead of all the name brand deodorants but times are changing and I’m finding more and more aluminum free deodorants. This deodorant smells very good, like a forest. The actual deodorant looks and feels smooth to the touch. I swipe a few times under my arms and I’m good to go. I do live in the desert and our temps have been up to 110 and so far no BO. I spend a lot of time outdoors in the heat so it’s important for me to find a good deodorant that keeps me smelling good and so far this is a good one. I’m very happy with how well this deodorant is working for me, I’m definitely going to keep using this.

I feel so disgusted whenever I use this deodorant. My armpit becomes so sticky. The scent was so bad. I couldn't use it anymore.

The scent that I got was the one that smells like a pine forest, I forget what it’s called, but I do like the smell very much. The only thing I don’t really like about this deodorant is that it leaves residue on my shirt and just about anything that touches my armpit. And I can almost bet that it will leave residue the next day too so if I use this at night with my pajamas for instance, it might leave residue on my clothes tomorrow for leaving the house. So I don’t really use it too often even though I love the smell of it. I don’t know how I’m going to use it up with this issue but it does smell, very good! It does work for odor, so that is good. If someone doesn’t care about residue then this might be perfect for them.

This deodorant comes in a plastic container with a pull off top. The deodorant is ivory in color. It has a pleasant scent that smells earthy and warm to me. It could be worn by any sex without issue.It applies well, but it's drier than most stick deodorants, so you use have to use more pressure when applying it than you might think. It does not stain clothes.The deodorant works well, even after working out at a gym. It keeps body odor in check and has not caused any issues with skin irritation or rashes.All in all... great deodorant.

A good deodorant with a unique smell that works pretty well. Not an antiperspirant but doesn't pretend to be one. Locally made and nicely packaged. A winner in my book.
