I really like this coffee. I brew it in a Hario Switch and use a quality hand grinder to get a nice grind on the medium/fine side. Fifteen grams of coffee to 250 grams of water gives me nice flavor with a tiny bit of tartness which I like a lot. If you're looking for a totally smooth, low acid coffee, this probably isn't for you.

The coffee is fresh and the taste of it is amazing. Will definitely continue to buy.

The flavor intensity seems low. I drink my coffee black. I use whole bean and a low speed grinder and brew with a Moccamaster. I have tried increasing the amount of coffee, but the flavor profile becomes too acidic. I have purchased other coffees from Costa Rica, and have been very pleased. I think a deeper roast would be the answer. This coffee looks like a light roast.

Loved this coffee - not too strong with just subtle notes of sweetness. In a word - enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!

I would totally give this a zero rating. Bitter yuk, usually love this brand. So disappointed:(. Wanted to try this because I love the other coffees they have. But this one is terrible and so expensive:(

I am a HUGE fan of Mayorga coffee -- I've been drinking the brand for a couple of years now and have always LOVED it. I did not love this Costa Rica blend though -- it's bitter, which is unusual for this brand whose coffee I've always found to be super smooth. I will stick with their Cuban roast.

this is a good tasting coffee, I've now enjoyed it for two days and intend on buying it again.

This Costa Rica whole bean from Mayorga is the worst of all I've had from them. No matter how strong or weak I brewed it and no matter how I ground the beans from coarse to fine it was acidic and bitter. I think lightly roasted beans are tough to brew in general to get it just right but this one was not to my liking.
