My Welch Allyn ophthalmoscope stopped working years ago and been so lazy to go to a dealer to fix it. Someone suggested just buying the bulb online and fixing it myself. Bulb was delivered quickly and intact. It works well and it was easy to install.

0 stars. Spent $15 more for this as advertised “Welch Allyn” product just for it to show up in a random plastic bag. As shown in the picture it looks NOTHING like my original Welch Allyn light bulb as pictured the one below. Regardless I am needing this in a time crunch and thought I would try it as it states on the plastic baggy it arrived in that it is compatible for diagnostic product 11270, yet it is larger than the original bulb and does not fit in the opthalmoscope. So unless you want to waste money purchasing a bulb that think is name brand and doesn’t even fit in the product, don’t buy this.

I did it for my panoptic opthalamoscope that used 03800-U lamp model that I could not fi d on amazon and the these 09400-U work, although later I found 03800-U later on e-ebay
