Like the sound quality and they do reduce cord tangle. Nice earbuds!

Very great good sound quality

I hate being tied to a charger so I prefer wired headphones. I've had more expensive brands like Beats but will never buy anything but Sol Jax for as long as they keep making them. The music is deep, call audio is clear... so is the mic. I lose headsets all the time, leaving them in planes, airports, hotels etc. These are great headsets and are relatively inexpensive. At PHX there's a store that sells them BOGO half off.

I have had these headphones for about 6 hours now... I know.. I know.. you have to break them in to get the best sound.. which is marginally true for serious hifi guy... but lets face it you're looking at a $28ish pair of ear buds not something you have to finance.. HOWEVER.. the sound I have gotten out of these so far has been to say the least impressive. I should have prefaced this by saying that I am a pair of earbuds' worst enemy.. The amount I use them should give me brain cancer within the next two weeks according to some studies... and the applications.. work (8 hours a day), biking, running, general sweating while in the sweltering southern heat... they get put through their paces... the point is I have gone through countless pairs of mid-range buds. Sennheisers, audiotechnica, klipsche, Philips.. all the mainstream brands at there mid-range level. But now I have gone to these SOLs. And let me tell you they are good. Better than any of the previously mentioned and cheaper with the exception of the Philips (those marshmellows were dern good though). I mostly listen to alternative and do a great job with the kick and toms. Mid range bass and grungy guitar are lively. The highs are crisp but a tiny bit too uh... animated.. if that makes sense.. they just don't seem as real as the highs a pair B&Ws will put out.. which I realize is a completely unrealistic comparison but its the best I got. I refuse to go into fit because it is so objective. You can pretty much sum of fit like this... Are your earholes smaller than that of a 1 year old? Yes? then they are no good.. Are they larger than what I perceive the size of Shaq's to be? Then they are no good. Actually they have some quite huge tips so you might still be good. Everyone in between....its a crap shoot. I would point out however that you have to have earholes otherwise they will not work. So why only four stars? I have an S4 and the buttons don't work right... the middle button brings up S-Voice and tells me about voicemails?? not quite sure what that's all about.. I really didn't expect them to work right for that though.. I'll finish this review off by saying a good pair of buds can dramatically change your perception of a song. And if you are using your iphone headphones day in and day out these will certainly positively affect your listening experience. Trust me there are sounds you will hear with these that you wont with many comparable buds. Hope this helps... Listen on friends

I was interested in creating a poor mans custom ear buds that I could use while cycling.On the decibullz website the listed the Jax as compatible. And true as advertised the snapped right in. The cords transmit the wind vibration and defeat the effect of sealing off the ear. So at the end of the day the earbuds are OK but not great, It was the decibulz compatibility that moved me to buy these earbuds. If I looked at the ear buds on their own I think I would have been happier with the Amps. All in all the noise problem with the cords made these unusable for the reason I purchased them.

Great price, Very good sound reproduction. Kit of rubber inserts made the fit perfect even to lay sideways to sleep listening to music. Has three position switch. Was delivered quickly since was needed as a present.

These headphones started out with great sound and they were very comfortable to wear. My problem is that I have only had them since January and they have quit working. The price was low enough that I did not bother getting any replacement plan, but I did not think I would be without headphones in under 3 months. I have been very careful with the wires and feel I took very good care of the headphones. First item from Amazon that I have not been happy with.

con queste cuffie si sente molto bene. Io le avevo comprate per usarle con il Motorola moto x ma purtroppo non sono compatibili. Non funzionano i tasti del volume ma solo il tasto centrale. Testati su iphone funziona tutto perfettamente.

I bought this brand because I already knew it. The sound is fantastic, and they are really durable. I use the all the time, even for jogging out, which accelerates the wear of the phones. My ears are very tiny, and most of the in-ear phones are to big for my ears, to the point of hurting and not staying there for a long. These are just the perfect fit for small ears. And I reiterate the quality of sound, I don't know all the characteristics and definition of sounds, but I've tried different 'big brands' and definitely this one competes with the biggest one.

Son los primeros auriculares que me duran por lo menos un año. Tienen muy buena resistencia y el sonido se escucha además muy bien.

Son muy vistosos, se ven increíbles, suenan muy bien igual pero en mi opinión tienen un problema, las gomas son muy suaves y por donde sale el sonido es muy grande así que en mi caso, después de un rato me lastima. Quizás son unos audífonos muy caros para lo que dan, tengo unos phillips de menos de 250 y suenan muy bien, incluso mejor que estos, y son 1000 veces más cómodos además de que tienen esa pizca de bajos aumentado, si buscas unos audífonos que suenen bien, que se vean increíbles y tus canales auditivos no son pequeños (además de que te sobra dinero) estos son para ti. Lo único malo es el precio y que para mi no fueron tan cómodos. No compren la versión con controles de música, no vale ese dinero extra que pagas, si funcionan los controles pero se sienten feos y baratos, y para ser honesto ni los uso.

Ich habe die SOL Republic Jax Kopfhörer als Ersatz für meine defekten Apple-Kopfhörer bestellt. Die bisherigen Bewertungen haben mich zur Bestellung bewegt, nunmehr möchte ich kurz meine eigenen Erfahrungen schildern: Die Kopfhörer sind absolut top! Es gibt keinerlei Probleme bei der Verwendung mit dem iPhone 4S. Durch die Umstellung des Equalizers habe ich für mich den perfekten Klang gefunden. Positiv ist, dass die "Soundabgabe" an die Umwelt sehr gering ausfällt, hier können die Apple Kopfhörer beispielsweise definitiv nicht mithalten. Die Reibungsgeräusche sind bei diesen In-Ear-Kopfhörern nicht sonderlich kleiner oder größer als bei anderen Produkten und stören mich bei meiner Nutzung (ÖPNV, Urlaubsreisen) nicht. Man sollte sich meiner Meinung nach vorher im Klaren sein, dass man kein passendes Produkt für den (Lauf-)Sport bestellt. Für "normale" Hörer spreche ich hiermit eine klare Kaufempfehlung aus. Audiphile werden sicherlich Kritikpunkte finden, bei 40 EUR soll man aber auch keine Utopien erwarten. ***Nachtrag vom 28.03.2014*** Mittlerweile habe ich die Kopfhörer sehr ausgiebig bei mehrstündigen Zugfahrten genutzt. Es ist zur obigen Rezension zu ergänzen, dass ich selbst nach vierstündigem Tragen keinerlei Druckschmerz verspürte. Von den Umgebungsgeräuschen im Zug habe ich zu meiner Freude nichts mitbekommen. Den Kauf der Kopfhörer werde ich defintiv nicht bereuen.
