My kids loved these books. My sons name is AJ and my daughters name is a daisy lol. Aj is just like AJ in the book so he connected with the book from the first page.My son does not like reading and since we read the first one he got into reading the others by himself and now he is reading without me forcing him to read.Loved these funny ones

My daughter is obsessed. She’s 14 and has a significant brain injury. Her (former) neurologist said she’d never read. With Dan Gutman she won’t put it down!!!

My 7 year old, who doesn’t always love to read, seemed to really enjoy this book, and one of the Christmas ones. We recently got him book 2 and he jumped right in!

This book makes difficult boys like to read. This what it was intended for. However, it is also a good read for "good girls". The vocabulary and the story is tailor-made for the second grade. It really develops child's reading skills. It has some good jokes that second graders understand and laugh at. The one about why "butt" is singular even though it is divided into two halves was particularly hilarious. Characters are well developed, unique, and memorable. A.J., the narrator, who hates school, Andrea, smarty pants, Emily, the cry baby, Principal Klutz, and Miss Daisy are all very likable. Subjects and themes include many fields, from football to psychology. I recommend the Kindle version, since it worked well for me.

The story is fun, a teacher who doesn’t like school. There are repetitive phrases so early readers can recognize words. My granddaughter is reading at about 1st grade level and has trouble with combination letters that sound different in different words such as ‘ough’ as in rough, thought, etc. This book has a number of words with this kind of practice. She does like to pick up and read when we have reading practice days. She even started reading another book in the series at school.

Brilliant series! Most second graders can related to main characters! Captures attentions of young readers and parents! Gem for families looking to engage kids in reading!

My child is in first grade and is a big reader. I bought her this book, one of her first chapter books, because it seemed fun. It's an okay read and she is able to read it well, I wont be buying more of these books though. It's just OK

at first i did not want to read it,but then I liked it .I was laughing the whole time like crazy

いわゆる子供向けのペーパーバックでペラペラの薄い本です。とある学校を舞台にしていて、そこで働くいろんな先生が主役として毎回取り上げられます！今回は第１巻としてMiss. Daisyが主役だったんですが、これが普通では考えられないようなとんでもないおバカちゃんで読み書きも計算も出来ない？！そうです。意味不明でした(笑)
