BonJour Coffee Stainless Steel French Press with Glass Carafe, 50.7-Ounce, Monet, Black Handle

Excellent French Press. It was my favorite. I dropped it and it broke :(

We have several of these in different sizes. They last practically forever (even despite some carelessness) and seldom need replacing. They are wonderful for individual use as well as for parties and fit nicely on a crowded table. The coffee made in these French Press pots is outstanding!

I've used the BonJour French Press for many years. The carafe has always been fragile, and I have replaced it numerous times. The plunger/filter also wears down, which is to be expected. However, in recent incarnations of the coffee maker, the frame holding the carafe has become very flimsy. On one hand, this makes removing and cleaning the carafe (and the inside of the frame) much easier. On the other hand, the flimsy frame raises fears that the carafe will one day soon slide out and brake while I'm pouring a cup.

Finally - a size that makes enough coffee for the entire family! Good sturdy design, easy to clean. Would buy again.

Hard to find press pot this large. It is just the right amount for me and partner. I take a 30oz cup of coffee to work and she still has enough for a few cups. I usually made a pot, then put into a pitcher in the fridge. I like cold coffee but the cold brew stuff takes way too much coffee. Will order another if we break this one.

Highly recommend, just don't hit the glass on the edge of your sink. I always have a spare now!

Lasted about one week before the thread became stripped (where the plunger attaches to the shaft, if that makes sense?). I have several Bodum presses that are OLD, & there's never an issue with those. I gave this one as a gift, then the piece stripped. I'm embarassed enough that I'm switching out presses (giving them one of my Chambords, & taking this piece of junk back). Really disappointed. drf
