Simple Solution Pet Carpet Freshener with Enzymatic Cleaning Granules - 500g

I used this on my stair carpet that smelled a bit ‘doggy’. The initial impression of the powder was that it had quite a strong chemically smell but I decided that since I’d be vacuuming it all back up then it wouldn’t linger …. Boy was I wrong!! The whole house smelled of chemicals for days afterwards - the vacuum cleaner smelled horrible for even longer! Weeks later my husband complained of a chemical smell in the garage .. eventually tracked down to the closed container, which promptly got thrown in the bin. I was after something like the old Shake ‘n’ Vac that wasn’t quite as eye wateringly stinky as this!

I was looking forward to trying this after the good reviews, but sadly I was disappointed. The smell was really lovely, it didn’t last long though. My rug still had that dog smell and after using the entire contents over a few days it made no difference. I popped to the shop and bought shake and vac, it was a fraction of the price and worked instantly. I won’t be buying this product again.

First off, it was easy to apply and I had high hopes. I have a 5 month old lab puppy and he’s brought his very own distinctive (strong) smell to the front room rug. The smell, after hoovering, is not overly pleasant, reminding me of cleaning fluid and bleach that hasn’t quite covered the smell. It does improve things but only for a few days and nothing like the advertised duration! I had put this onto a repeat order I was so confident, sadly it fell well short of expectation and further orders have been cancelled. I’m back to lighting a scented candle each morning!!

Smells nice, a little over powering. But don’t use if you have animals!!! Used it on rug, my dog and two cats all have messed up itchy dry skin now. The power sinks to the rug and weeks later the power is still appearing. We are now considering throwing the rug away.

I used this as directed, vacuumed it up thoroughly with our regular vacuum, and kept my dog away from the living room until the scent had dissipated a bit, but my dog had a terrible allergic reaction to it. Within two days of me using the powder, she'd developed sores on her paws and her bottom, which required an emergency vet visit. So, I would definitely proceed with caution if you choose to use this, and I'll also add that the smell of it was a bit overwhelming. There are definitely better products out there, and moving forward, I think I'll actually just use regular baby powder.

Im sure this product will be good. The box it was in certainly smells nice but the item wasnt sealed and so half of it is just wasted in the box and all over my other products. Not impressed.

I have a cat that is stubborn and doesn't like the litter tray, but will instead pee on items of clothing left on the floor and it has gone into the carpet. Having shook this on, brushed in with a broom and left for at least 40 minutes before hoovering, it did not do anything for the urine smell and did not neutrolise anything. Have bought a Dr beckmann carpet spot cleaner now and hope that does the job

This carpet freshener with enzyme cleaning granules did not remove the odour. It was also difficult to vacuum from a textured carpet and had an unpleasant perfumed smell. I ended up having to use a hard brush to try to remove the granules from the carpet and then cold water to restore the carpet to its original colour. Would not recommend.

Super Produkt! Ich benutze es nicht gegen Flecken sondern eher gegen den typischen Hundegeruch im Teppich. Im Büro, Wohnzimmer und Flur, alles riecht nach Frühling. Ich habe das Produkt vor 2 Wochen im Büro getestet und es riecht bis heute noch danach. Tipptopp! 👍
