3 way is the only way to go. These sound amazing
As you can see, I have these in both my vehicles. My 2011 Scion xB and the 2014 Ford F150. They sound best on real amp power; 75 w rms or better. If you really wanna make them sing, use 1 4 channel amp to bi-amp them as the crossover allows this. Then they sound even better. Been using them for 7 years.
