A reimagining of the hit '80s series, Dreamworks' She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is the story of an orphan named Adora, who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She-Ra. Soon, she finds a new surrogate family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses to defend Etheria. Alongside her best friends Glimmer and Bow, Adora helps to lead the Princess Alliance against their enemies, including the mysterious Hordak and Adora's childhood friend Catrawho soon rises in the Horde's ranks, spurned by feelings of betrayal. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is a genre-smashing series full of adventure, fun, comedy, and sincere heart. Review: Amazing new take! - Amazing diverse characters, amazing LGBTQ+ representation. Makes you laugh and definitely makes you cry. I absolutely love love love this show!! Review: An Excellent Show For All Ages! - I found She-Ra and the Princesses of Power on Netflix at random and thought I'd give it a shot. I had fond memories of the 80s version of both She-Ra and He-Man, so I wasn't holding out much hope - man, was I wrong! This is a brilliant series with multi-faceted characters, fun design and a plot that weaves through episodes instead of following the old 'bad guy of the week' formula. It's also really refreshing to see the other princesses be different body types and ethnicities, as the old one had all the women looking pretty much exactly the same as each other. Adora is an endearing hero, trying her best to do right but plagued by universal insecurities of self-doubt. Just as fascinating is her ex-best friend/antagonist Catra, who has her own flipside journey into spiralling villainy. The secondary characters are all equally well-rounded. Glimmer is a sort of foil to Catra this time around, and Scorpia is probably the sweetest villain sidekick since Kronk. The other princesses are a lot of fun, particularly as an ensemble. My favourite is probably Mermista, who has the sarcastic edgy valley girl persona down perfectly. Sadly this is not the full series - the final part is yet to air on Netflix so it isn't included here. Still, if you don't have Netflix and you want a fun show with a surprising amount of pathos, you won't be disappointed. I wish this is the She-Ra show I got to grow up with!

Great series, preserve it if u can
This is region 1 coded. If you are living outside the states, only but if you a multi region player. If I can go on a tangent: this was less of a annoyance when this show was available on Netflix everywhere (almost makes you question if region coding has any justifiable reason to exist in the first place, that does), which you'd think being the creators of this product would be something we could all rely on. Capitalism is suffocating and it's the capitalist who make decisions like this who are holding the pillow.

Catra Seasons 1-3
When it comes to how not to produce an animated series, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is a prime example of how not to make one! There is no She-Ra in this show, it features a girl who dons a cosplay outfit each ep, and that's it! The main focus of the series is the catgirl called Catra, the rest of the characters, including the supposed title character, are of zero consequence, they are simply there to fill screen time, along with pretty much the rest of the show. Despite a few backgrounds for establishing shots, the show is incredibly poorly produced, bland and unimaginative character designs, inconsistent and irrelevant characters, incoherent and inconsistent plot, no story, diabolical dialogue, poor world building, drawn out far beyond welcome unfunny jokes, terrible character interaction, actionless, horrendous animation and terrible to so-so voice acting! This whole show just ultimately reeks of incompetence! Forget what it says on the box, this is simply the complete episode collection of season 1. It was produced as one season, the episodes are numbered as season 1, ie 101-126, it was split into three 'parts' to extend its release schedule, as releasing all 26 episodes at once would have meant Netflix would lose money from everyone binge watching for a couple of weeks, then forgetting about it and reduce the amount of people tuning in when the second season, episodes 227-252, would see release on Netflix the year later! When it comes to the bar of standards, this show doesn't even meet any of the basic requirements. The only merit the show has, is the fact that is does show us how not to produce an animated show, so now we can hopefully get a professional team in to produce a series of quality, but after this, anything produced that is distinctly average, would be a vast improvement!

This is millennial garbage.
Don’t watch this trash. Just watch the classic 80s cartoon instead.

This show is truly the greatest of all time. It's fun, wholesome, camp, queer, and super pretty. It'll have you laughing and crying in turn. I heard that the show is being taken off of Netflix next year so I had to hunt down the DVD. As I'm in Australia I had to buy a region free Blu-ray player so I could watch this, which was a splurge but so worth it to be able to watch my favourite TV show of all time. If only they would release seasons 4 and 5 on DVD too!

Cannot say enough good about this title! Broadly speaking, Adora matures as a person while fighting to save Etheria from the Horde as an 8 ft princess! The plot lines are compelling. The relationship arcs are beautiful. The line animation and color schemes are classic. It's 4 DVD disks, played in my BD player no problem! But, it's only 1/2 of the total story! Seasons 4 & 5 are literally half of the total number of episodes, and they aren't released yet 😭. An obvious buy for anyone who loved it on Netflix, but, also highly recommended for those with kids, and the young at heart.

Llegó en tiempo y forma, incluso antes de lo esperado, además que en perfectas condiciones. Si eres fan de la serie es en verdad algo que lo vale.

A very well written show with iconic characters and an aesthetically pleasing animation. Good for kids, teenagers and also adults. The package came in perfect conditions. I hope they will make the DVD also for the last seasons!
