Mazda RX-8 Stainless Steel Rotary Shift Knob Cap Fix - Unfinished Satin

Nothing much to add that the other reviews don't cover. The Satin finish is great. not chromy and chintzy looking at all. Just be careful, as the instructions say, to not overdo the glue near the edges. It will ooze out over the edges when you apply the cover to your shifter.

This is a well manufactured item that fits absolutely perfectly snug over the original metal gearshift detailing. When I bought my RX8 it was two years old (an '09) and seemed to have been owned previously by a grizzly bear who gouged the gearknob every time he shifted gear. Got this, stuck it on with super glue provided and gearknob looks as good as new and it is totally impossible to notice that this is stuck on over original, the fit IS that good.

Even tho it doesn't look like a rotor it does make a scratched up original look very nice.
