I really wanted this dress to work, but unfortunately it did not. Upon reading the other comments, while I am normally an 18W, I decided to order this dress in both a 20W and a 22W figuring one of the two would work. The 20W fit ok around the bust, but was way too tight in the abdomen/waist area. The 22W fit in the waist/abdomen, but was huge around the bust. Also, I did not realize that the shoulders lie at an angle, so if you want to wear a bra with this, you'll have to pin your bra straps off to the side. Also, the crinoline underneath is rather cheap, but I wasn't all that concerned because my plan was to remove it if the dress had worked for me. Finally, it should be worth noting that these dresses (as with any chiffon dress you order online, and I've ordered several!), they come folded in a flat package. Therefore, you are going to have to have it steamed at a dry cleaner or by a seamstress before wearing to work out the wrinkles. All in all, for the price, it's not a bad dress if you are willing to order a few sizes to try on and are willing to put additional money into having it altered if necessary.

I bought this dress as a bridesmaid dress for a friends May wedding. It is beautiful! I got a size up, I tend to wear a 12 and bought a 14 so I could take it in if needed. The arm holes are a little big so I will alter that real quick, but it is a lovely. The only thing I am not crazy about it there is suppose bars in the dress to give the front a certain shape, I might take them out.

I am at a loss, the photos are misleading and as a seamstress who was looking to buy a dress for a memorial so I wouldn't be bogged down with sewing the dress myself this dress was a huge disappointment!in the photo you would think its a full almost swing skirt, well let me burst your bubble because the underskirt (the lining skirt) was this ugly ill-conceived thing that was stuffed with the cheapest tool built in petticoat thing. not only did it make the underskirt bell out in a terrible silhouette it made the skirt attached to it smaller and too tight, (let me explain when you make a bubble hem line you need two pieces the top which is larger to gather at the hem and attach it to a smaller piece on the bottom, its like attaching a bitter tube to a little tube and allowing the larger tube to fluff out) and boy was it ugly!!!! I had to open the underskirts take apart the undesirable built in petticoat and then cut away the third lining skirt at this point, add all the left over fabric into the second lining skirt to allow the entire thing to be a free form swing skirt. I did so much work on this dress I might as well have made it myself. and if I had I wouldn't have had to reinforce the seams because what ever tension they sewed it on was damn near a gathering stich and wouldn't last one wash, and serge the now exposed seams cuz....who wants a fraying dress. even after all that, the shoulders where huge, this dress has all the wrong proportions and I was just done and wore a subpar dress anyway. this was a huge disaster show, and instead of taking away my stress for the day and letting me say goodbye to my grandmother in peace, instead the aggravation continues till this very day.I stupidly bought two dresses and I figured the one that got to me first was the one I would wear, I got the pink mess and it took beyond the day it said it would be delivered for the burgundy dress. first issue it was never delivered on the day it said it was delivered, no that took about a week after it said it was delivered and serval emails and phone calls later to get to me. at this point I am annoyed and never even open it up and then after that I send it back and to my shock and horror I was charged an extra 12.50$ to return this nightmare of a dress. I was livid and now I have not received my refund nor my reimbursement for shipping this terrible dress back....that's right you not only buying a terrible dress for 47 bucks and let me tell you its more a 25$ dollar dress with the poor construction and corner cutting these people did in making it let me tell you, but you'll have the shill out 12 more bucks just to have the aggravation of sending it back! if I could give this dress no stars I would and I wish I could give it a half star at that....here's a last note I want the sellers to see and understand....I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! NOW!!!!

A beautiful dress but it does run a bit small. You probably want to order a size up.

It's as the other reviewers say, the V is very high up, not like the picture. Otherwise, the dress is pretty and of reasonably good quality. I really like the way the tulle is sewn into the lining. It doesn't show, but adds poof to the skirt. That part is very nice.

Although this dress came from China and took quite a while to get to me, I was pleasantly surprised! The dress seems to be constructed well and it actually fits me almost perfectly. If you don't need the dress right away and can afford to wait, for $40 this was a good buy!

My wife purchased this for her friend's bridesmaid dress and it is way undersized! The item has two size carts and her actual size is between a 4 and 6 and an 8 on the other chart. This is very frustrating to have ordered the size that was needed only to find that it is WAY to small and we are unable to zip it past her 1st rib. The arm holes are tiny and she says she feels like she's suffocating without it zipped up. The v-neck is above her collar bone and I'm pretty sure that's not where it's supposed to be. This is a necessity item as she is in her friend's wedding so we will continue to order the next size up until we get the one that fits. Very frustrated.

For the price, it was alright. The dress was pretty but required a significant amount of alteration before it looked right. It was sewn unevenly and the straps were lopsided.
