Daniel Green Women's Glamour Slipper

I have purchased Daniel Green slippers over the years, although pricey, I liked the quality. I could no longer find them in stores, so I was pleased to see them offered at Amazon. I purchased these slippers on February 11, 2016, the stitching on the bottom of the heels of both has worn away and and the right one is split on the side.Completely disappointed and now will need to find another pair.

The first pair of Daniel Green slippers I owned I bought in a retail store. They lasted for six years, wearing daily indoors, and I loved them. The second pair I ordered, in the same size, were too small and went to my daughter-in-law. The third pair lasted a little shy of two years. The ones I have now are about 6 months old. The lining is worn and separated, much like the last pair at 2 years, and the leather at the back of the slipper has totally worn off already. So I guess this will be the last pair. I really liked this product when it was good.

I bought 2 pairs of the Daniel Green Glamour and I find them very comfortable for around the house. The problem is, both pairs have come apart at the seam near the toes. The leather is still looking great and I would love to have them for years but they both are falling apart! If they were cheap fabric, I would expect to have to replace them frequently, but I have a hard time wanting to buy another pair as it seems a great waste of leather and a lot of money for slippers.. Not very well made. I tried the Oomphies but they are not as comfortable as these Daniel Greens. These do run half size small by the way.

This item was purchased 12/23 and here and now on 4/27 (4mos later) they are coming apart at the sole. These are never worn outside, only worn inside on carpet and hardwood. Ive worn Daniel Green for over 30 yrs and never have i purchased a pair that only lasted 4 months. This is the srcond pair that ive phrchased and this happened. After reviewing the show i realized that both the inside and soles were different than other Daniel Green slippers purchased directly from the online Daniel Green Store. They do not appear to be authentic.

I have a pair of these quite a long time ago…they were wonderful. Suede bottom, lined in soft leather, just felt like luxury. My new pair? For $24.95, they aren't bad, but they certainly are not what I had expected. The sole is now some kind of slippery vinyl, and the lining is polyester tricot. The pair I received were poorly put together and heavily smeared with glue. I wear a 10.5 medium, and after reading the reviews, ordered an 11W. They fit pretty well, but are actually a bit narrow on the footbed and my heels hang over the sides a bit more than I would like. The platform feels like it's going to squish down quickly…just not feeling the love for what was once a great manufacturer of a classic product.

I read the reviews and saw that they ran small so I ordered one size larger and went with the wide width, they are perfect and I love them! They are so comfortable! I have to have a heel because it is painful to walk barefooted. No slippers were helping much and I tried ALL the ones that were suppose to help with. Wearing these I would not know I had a problem at all! I am thankful to Daniel Green because these are the only house shoes that help. I will eventually buy them in all colors for now I have the black and ivory and could not be anymore pleased in them. You do not miss the "fuzzy" of the classic house slipper plus these look much better when you have unexpected guess dropping by.*****update: My only complaint is that they do not last long, I reordered another pair exactly 5 months later. They are not made for even occasional walks outside to the mailbox. They have smooth leather sole and do not hold up walking on concrete. I do where these everyday with occasional alternating with another pair in a different color.

This was a gift and although a very attractive pair of slippers and well-made with a much-needed wedge heel (great for various foot issues), these slippers are a full size too small. My mom is a true size 6 and we had to return these as it was way too small and pretty narrow too. These are a great pair of slippers but be sure to order a full size to size and half up from your regular show size. We had to return these and they were out of the larger sizes. I ordered these again from somewhere else in a bigger size and they were perfect and very comfortable for my mom.

When I first tried on my new slippers I was dismayed to find them too small. Then I found a wad of paper inside the toe of each. Once I took that out the slipper fit much better. They seemed a bit snug at first but they are kidskin and I knew they would have become too loose in no time if they had started off feeling just right. Sure enough, in a day's time they fit perfectly. They are beautiful!
