Works well and was an excellent value
Installation was not very difficult as long as you keep track of which screws go where,and have access to the proper size of phillips and torx-6 drivers.Easy instructions found online for replacing this.

A1278 works great
One mercury retrograde I dropped my laptop and it broke the airport card. I finally bought this card and it has worked great. Easy to install, because I'm awesome and my computer has two hard drives at the same time.

Didn't last long
I purchased this in November 2013, and it died this week. I definitely expected more than 4 months of use.
