The Medjugorje Prayer Book

The first 8 chapters seem to be more of an introduction to prayer at Medjugorje and the need for it. The remaining chapters are filled with prayers and ways of prayer. It will take me some time to learn, especially the thoughts he gives for the Rosary (although it isn't that different as far as the informal meditations go-to just a matter of learning some short prayers to the Holy Spirit and in praise and glory to Jesus). Then there the morning ( and early morning if so inclined or feel called to do) prayers, and the prayer of 7 Our Father's, Hail Mary's and Glory Be's and a Creed actually is an opening prayer 2 Fatima prayers, a Divine Mercy prayers, 7 meditations to bring further purpose to the prayer and for what, 7 Our Father's, 70 Hail Mary's and 7 Glory Be, and a closing prayer. Then the evening prayers and ejaculatory prayers. Finally the importance of the prayerful attendance at Mass and at least monthly confessions. Maybe I will feel safer in letting go of this book after 2 or 3 readings. There just is a lot in here

I received the book after two days of placing my order. The book itself begins with a little background on the apparitions, and the prayers include the Holy Rosary, The Divine Mercy Chaplet, prayers to be said throughout the day, and prayers for Holy Mass. The author (Weible) gives a short explanation of how he came upon the Medjugorje messages, and it is just an inspiring little book that easily fits in one's pocket. Nice!

If you have ever felt that you can't pray or you don't know how, or you even wanted some guidance on the best ways to pray, than this book is for you. As I was reading it, I honestly felt guided on how and what to pray. I have many prayer books, but this one actually shows you HOW to pray. You are sure yo grow spiritualy with this book. This fits my prayer time to a T. Mary is very important in my life and these prayers help me with reflection time.

If you haven't read about the miracles and change in people's life about Our Lady visiting this little village inYukoslavia, you are in for a treat. Especially in this crazy world we live in, here lies the answers to all of theworld's problems...pray!

I was a bit disappointed with it because I expected it it to be different to be more on the old style prayer book

A book that can be read at any time or place. No need for a book marker. Will be a help to anyone who can stop and read even for just a few moments. This book should be appealing even to the most sceptical.
