I needed high-heat oven accessories. I looked no more!Absolutely NO cons!Tested in 450 degrees oven.. didn't feel ANY heat on the inside... both items were kept cool.A MUST BUY for amateur chefs or professional chefs.Most importantly, very easy to launder. They dried wonderfully in the dryer WITHOUT curling up.

Our old set was about 5-10 years old, they had holes in them as let fingers poke through to touch the pans. This brand new set (2 sets at that) as nice as keep our hands safe from the hot pans and pots. They are a little stiff but I'd rather have that than paper-thin. I'll probably by another set in 5-10 or when its time for a replacement.

These are unexpectedly thin and definitely don't protect up to 572 degrees for more than a split second (which defeats the purpose). They do work well enough at more average baking temperatures, though, which I the bulk of what I'll be using them for. Nothing standout about them, but they do the job fine at lower temperatures.

needed to get a good heat resistant pot holders for the kitchen, these seam to be it. they have grip strips on them to help hold onto the handles. FYI on the 4 finger mitten its is 4 inches across, so no extra for feeling too big unless u have giant hands . can recommend

These oven mitts and pot holders filled a need a friend had in his kitchen. The mitts keep his hands safe when removing dishes from the oven. So much better than the pliers he was using! The pot holders keep the table top safe, and are helpful when removing hot dishes from stove and microwave. It's a winning combination for him.

Heat resistant is good on these oven mitts that also project part of arm from heat as well. Keeps me from getting burned on the arm from the racks when reaching in the oven. Not as wide as some mitts in the palm area but that is a plus for me and they washed and dried up nicely.

Don't waste your time or $$. These melted on my oven rack as I was pulling it out at 400°. So badly that I had to replace my over rack.Also, the color says grey...not even close. They are purple. The color didn't bother that is why I didnt return them. I wish I had.

I was in a search for a good mitten that can be heat resistant especially when I bake bread. I used cast iron to bake bread and it gets very hot. I love these mitten and pot holders. It has these rubber thing on both mitten and pot holders so it is slipfree.
