Pretty much useless for me.
The concept is solid, but execution was poor. The pens are of low quality, and several didn't last more than one session with my piano students. The felt-tip wood recessed into the pen housing, making the pin useless.I'm not sure if it was the transparency material, or my erasers, or the pens, but the markings on the board did not erase clearly at all. Almost always have to go back over them with solution and a towel. The treble staff and bass staff are way too close to each other, and the staff lines themselves are very narrow. Not enough room for children to make accurate notations. Not to mention the dry erase markers are pretty thick, so drawing a small/precision note within the small lines is almost impossible.

Four Stars
It works, but personally I find the two staves too small and close together to use with young kids.

Nice, but not what I was expecting. It is not a board.
It's perfect for what I needed to use it for. A reusable sheet so I could have my kid draw notes and reference the keys that needed to be played. However, this is actually just a laminated piece of paper. It is not a hard board which is what I was expecting. So my child still needs a clipboard or a table to write on.

Visually Appealing and Functional
Eye-catching and learning made fun - students enjoy writing anything from musical terms to doodling in Music Note Land. The only thing about this music dry-erase board that I wouldn't mind slightly adjusting: the distance between the treble staff and bass staff could be farther apart.
