UTG Compensation Mount for RWS Airgun with T06 Trigger Black

Works wonderfully on my RWS 34 (T06 trigger) and is of solid construction. This added 3/4 inches on top of the normal 1/8" built-in rail for a total clearance of 7/8 inches (barrel to top of Weaver rail). Use low profile rings for just about any scope. Ignoring any additional height due to the rings you pick (which there will be some), a 65 mm objective will fit. I currently am using the screw that's already present on top of the barrel as a stop-pin (just butted up against it). There are two pins in this mount that will go in the shallow stop-pin holes in the existing rail, which would move it forward from its current position. I will probably move to this position upon my next teardown, because the scope is a little closer than my natural eye position would want. My first attempt was to remove the large screw from the barrel and use the deep stop-pin holes, but that put my scope (13.5" long) much too far back (couldn't see). You should also be aware that with low rings, the flare into the ocular (eyepiece) will limit how far you can push the scope forward as it bumps up against this mount. The back of my scope is 10.5" from the butt, but would be about 11" with the shallow stop-pin holes. Use of a shorter scope may also help give you the spacing you need. Bottom line -- this greatly helps the barrel droop (vertical misalignment between the barrel and the normal 11 mm dovetail rail).

By Jeff The UTG compensation mounts is well made. I use it on my rifle, but I have to pay close attention to the position of the mount. The stoping do not adequately match with the provided holes in the mount on the RWS 34. I have to reposttion the mounts after a number of shots or the point of impact starts to change.

Works perfectly on a Beeman RS2. I ran out of elevation adjustment with my UTG 3-9X40 1" Hunter Scope and temporarily shimmed the back of the scope until this arrived. Fit is great, tightens securely, and my scope came with Weaver mounts so I was good to go. Shimming a scope should only be used as a very temporary solution until you can get one of these. It's the least expensive and best long term solution to barrel droop on a springer air gun.

I have 3 0f these & they work fine,saves a lot of headaches from barrel droop & blaming your scope for not holding o ! You should know that the rear stop pin may or may not align with your rear receiver hole, I find that if you locktite the 4 mount screws it seems to hold fine without using the stop pin ...I had considered drilling another hole for stop pin to align to but doesn't seem necessary so far ! This saves from shimming scopes which if you aren't very careful can damage your expensive scope ! I am pleased with this mounts & am sure the scope will stay in a ...o.. setting longer because the scope is within its adjustable range settings.Its made for the RWS but will fit other air rifles, mount it with the allen head screws facing the left side of your rifle & you'll have it on correctly with taper correct ! This mount can save you tons of grief !

Barrel droop is just an awful reality and can come on almost any break barrel air rifle and you never know if it has it until you try to sight it in. Unless the droop is catastrophic, this little gadget easily and efficiently cures the problem along with the added bonus of letting you get a Weaver rail on your dovetail rifle that assures a fiercely recoil resistant mount. One thing that makes this unique is the fact that it is designed to fit RWS rifles with the T06 trigger which most other compensators will not fit (I found this out the hard way and had to send one back). If you have barrel droop and need one of these, this is the one to get; especially if you have a T06 trigger.

This base is advertised as being made for RWS T06 rifles on the company website, though the recoil stop screws are reduced in diameter. The ends of these screws were cut-off for a proper fit. The angle worked perfectly to combat the barrel droop that is often inherent in these rifles. Overall it works great and looks great, though the stop screws supplied make no sense. Low rings can be used for most any objective size.

These are very good droop rails. They stay in place very well. Machining is accurate. Less than a thou deviation.

This mount would not tighten down on the rail of my RWS airgun with T06 trigger. It's like the groove on the mount is too wide for the groove on the rail of the airgun. Yes it was installed correctly. I had RWS and UTG on the phone. No one could figure out why it would not tighten down. I tightened down all four bolts and you could slide it right off the rail. I tried different mounts that i had laying around and they all tightened down perfectly on the RWS. I ended up sending this thing back.

It works very well and holds the Scope securely on the Dovetail. Very well thought out and the quality is outstanding.

works as intended, no instructions as to use of the numbered groves. raises the scope higher than necessary though. a lower height option would have been nice. also centers along the barrel unlike many others.
