I started taking this at 32 weeks as an addition to my prenatal, and I’ve really liked it so far. The capsules are easy to swallow and I don’t get that strong fishy taste that some omega 3 supplements have. It gives me peace of mind knowing I’m supporting my baby’s brain development, especially in these last weeks. I also like that it feels clean and doesn’t upset my stomach. Overall, a great and simple addition to my pregnancy routine.

After reading through several reviews for DHA pregnancy supplements I went ahead with these, since they are third-party tested for environmental toxins, and seem to have a good policy about where they get their fish oil. They are tasteless and odorless, which is exactly what you want them to be, and they go down easily, with no stomach troubles or side effects. HOWEVER: out of the now three bottles I have ordered of these, one out of three smelled like rotten fish upon opening. I popped the cap and took a (horrible) whiff, then closed it up again and promptly printed out a return form with "Defective" as the reason for the return. I quickly got a refund and then reordered the product, and no troubles whatsoever with the replacement. So, in summary, these are terrific, just DO NOT TAKE THEM IF THEY SMELL LIKE ROTTEN FISH. You got a bad batch--it happens with these supplements--and you just need to replace them. Good luck with your baby!! :)

As a vegetarian, I wanted to make sure I was getting enough omega-3s. After trying other prenatal DHA supplements, these have been by far the best experience. The soft gels are easy to take, there is absolutely NO fishy smell or taste, and they don’t upset my stomach at all. I previously tried the Ritual prenatal omega-3, and unfortunately it smelled very fishy and didn’t sit well with me. If you’re a vegetarian or a mama-to-be with a strong sense of smell during pregnancy, I highly recommend these. It took me a while to find a prenatal DHA that worked for me, and Nordic Naturals has been amazing!
