So YMMV, obviously, depending on your hair (and maybe water), but for me, this isn't it. I hate leaving a bad review, because effectiveness will really depends on the person. Hence 3 stars, when I wanted to give 2.5.I wasn't looking for a cure here, but hoping to find a good shampoo that wouldn't worsen my scalp SD. And it does that. I haven't had a scratchy scalp for a few weeks, and no patches coming down my forehead. So that's great.Unfortunately, it falls short as a shampoo. My hair is your regular white-girl hair, straight but not ramrod straight, neither thick nor fine (but I do have quite a lot of it). It's also neither dry nor really greasy - I can normally go 3-4 days without washing it before it looks bad. This shampoo doesn't foam well, doesn't rinse easily, and leaves my hair looking like I washed it 2 days ago.I like the face wash, and I love the cream, but the shampoo doesn't work for me.It smells good, though.

Desperate and went to my doctor - itchy scalp and blisters and more - 1 use and relief and now second shampoo and see and feel a huge difference- was desperate and so glad I bought this

I will continue to use it twice a week

It did not touch my dandruff problem at all. Won't waste my money on it again.

I have issues with many shampoos and hair products irritating my scalp. This shampoo is the best I’ve found that doesn’t irritate my scalp and does not leave my hair dry and flyaway. My hair is very fine and prone to frizz…this shampoo and the conditioner work together for a positive finish

Toward the end of February 2021, I came down with what I assumed was food poisoning, which developed into a bacterial intestinal infection. Among the symptoms I experienced, in addition to a high fever (over 104), fatigue and inability to eat, was a painful rash all over my scalp.I purchased this to try to soothe my scalp. It did a decent job of just that, though it took a few weeks. I’ve also noticed that when I shampoo with this I’m able to stretch out my wash days longer - up to five days. My scalp just feels clean.Additionally, I’ve noticed my curly, color-treated hair seems to like this product. I cleanse my scalp (using a shampoo brush), add deep conditioner, and the results are as shown in the photos.
