Nothing special, but works well for a good price
From my experience, extremely high quality rosin only makes a notable difference if the bow is expensive as well, so I tend to stick to rosin around the $5-$10 price range. This rosin meets all reasonable expectations, and gets the job done.

Best rosin there is!
This is the only rosin my daughter will use for her violin. I bought some very expensive rosin (4 times the price) from the music store, and she calls it the "cheapo" rosin. She just got panicked because she's down to her last box, and said I had to buy more because if she were to lose that last one, there's no way she could play anymore!! So I guess it's time order more!

and it lasts longer and sounds better, so a win on all fronts
Daughter is absolutely thrilled with this rosin, she said it's much easier to apply than the one she was using, and it lasts longer and sounds better, so a win on all fronts.

Nice rosin!
I bought a couple of these rosins for my students as a reward for achieving the most practice minutes within a 6 week time frame. The gold makes it look amazing and it works pretty well too. :) The students really enjoy it.

Good Rosin
This is really nice rosin. It is nice and warm sounding. I do find that I have to be a little more careful with this particular rosin style or it will break. But I like it better than the rut in plastic kind. Just be sure you don't drop it. I also think the darker version had a richer sound for the cello, but this one does sound nice.

It is beautiful. It made me feel much more professional
I was thrilled with this purchase. It is beautiful. It made me feel much more professional. =) I was disappointed when my daughter dropped it and marked it up, but then my teacher told me I needed to scratch it up anyway.

Great especially for the price
Really nice sound. I've only used the darker rosin that came with my violin when I got it, but this was a really nice replacement. I've read that lighter rosins are better in the summer when it's hot and maybe that's why it's so much nicer right now.Do recommend!
