Aluminum Frame Housing Case for GoPro Hero 5 Session / 4 Session/Hero Session, CNC Aluminum Alloy Solid Protective Case with Wrench –Black

The mount is solid. Used it along with a small strip of rubber tubbing to thicken the diameter of my ski pole end. Camera clamped down well however with the smaller diameter of the pole there were some lateral wiggle room. The mount’s rubber isn’t thick enough for me to confidently squeeze without worry of squeezing a ski pole so I would definitely recommend adding a small strip of rubber (hose/wire insulation) to bite into. Otherwise great mount for some awesome ski action shots (selfi stick style, chase cam, etc) without the struggle of skiing with both poles in one hand and another on a selfie stick. I’ll also add that this thing was frozen to my pole but the key included helped pry it off like butter. The reviews saying this can get stuck is due to a washer getting locked in the rotating arm, very important to tighten both knobs simultaneously to get even pressure and not jam the washer with all the torque on one end.

I wish the bar clamp screws were a bit lower profile, but it's easy enough to swap them out with some socket caps. The mechanism swings open so you don't have to unscrew it all the way to get it off the bar which is quite nice. Overall it feels well made.

as soon as i got it i loved the look and as i got my gopro in this case my son tried jumping off the porch so i accidently slung the gopro and case into a rock pit just off my porch. my son is fine he did not fall. but when i picked up the case and gopro it didnt have a scratch on it im very happy with the toughness and how it protected my gopro hero 5 session.

It’s a little heavier than I thought, but it’s great quality. Not flimsy and I like the camera is secured with a plate and screw instead of a plastic latch.

Incredible product, if you are looking for excellent protection for your GoPro you found it with this product. Very well constructed and made beautiful design.

Love this product! Wish I bought it long ago. My GoPro doesn’t rattle around around in it, I’m not worried about it breaking, and it really is a perfect fit for the go pro session!

great bit of kit for the hero 4/5 session aluminium housing .strong and light ..

The body is strong and seems to fit and protect the GoPro Session very well. But the screw that holds the sliding back does not stay tight. I lost the first one after few uses. Without the screw, the sliding back becomes very loose and falls down immediately. It probably is good if you never take the GoPro out of the case. Else, be prepared to lose the screws easily.Also, the GoPro can be fit in one direction only and cannot be flipped to face back like you do with the original. this might add some difficulties if you do not get the required angle in the regular direction.

it looks great and strong it's a bit heavier than the plastic one but at least it's unbreakable
